After a long day of intense concentration and very little movement, Diana was planning to walk the scenic route home so she could relax her mind and stretch her legs. Lingering outside of the museum after hours wasn’t included in her plan, but as she was leaving, she spotted that ice cream truck she’d been hearing so much about lately and stopped for dessert. She was a third of the way finished with her ice cream cone when she noticed someone starting up the steps to the museum.

“It’s closed,” she called after them. “If you’re going to the museum, we’ve closed for the night. I’m sorry.”

“ n o, no that can’t be right. the museum always closes at seven on wednesdays and it’s only, ” he right wrist shot up to quickly look at his watch, and as his arm lowered so did his mood, “ quarter past seven. shoot. ” how was garfield supposed to calm down now? whenever the seventeen year old was upset the would always go to the planetarium, yet today it just seemed that the world was out to get him by cutting him off behind a train on his bike ride here from the animal hospital. his face settled into a scowl. the only thing that could cheer him up now would have to be... “ say, you wouldn’t happen to know any place that serves PANCAKES at this time, would you? ”
