A Blog Update
I hope you're having a lovely summer! I'm not too active on the internet anymore, but I wanted to update you guys on Garniers and what's been happening behind the scenes for a while now. For those who are new—because I haven't been logged on for more than a few minutes at a time for months now, but I see the new follower notifications—this blog has been my baby for a little over two years, two years in which I've had the opportunity to share my work with you, and share yours in return.
For a decision I made in the heat of the moment—after a creative drought that lasted for years—creating Garniers has been the most rewarding experience I've had in the RPC. I can't thank you enough for your support. I can't begin to describe how special it's been contributing to the community with something I was proud of and enjoyed doing immensely. Garniers might've been a coding blog in principle, but without you guys making the themes your own, and using them to bring your ideas to life, it wouldn't have been anywhere near as special—let's make that very clear!
I've prioritized offline responsibilities for a year, and my online presence has significantly dwindled. I deleted my social media and, while I was experiencing some serious FOMO at first, surprised myself by how quickly I got used to not having them. Now it's been a year, and though I've put out some of my favorite projects in that time, I've decided it's time to step back and see what follows. There are several projects I have already started working on (i.e, Leroux 2.0, The Asters, and Queen Of The Night), and I still very much intend to put out (after all, my work is still based on the internet), but I'm packing up and moving the circus elsewhere.
I will still pop up once I figure out what I want this blog to look like next (which shouldn't take too long), and I get the itch to whisk something out. Theme-making has been a creative outlet for me for a long time, and I will probably keep getting theme ideas at the age of forty (that I'm nowhere near, but you get the idea). So it's not a ‘so long and goodnight.’
See it as a ‘love you, and see you soon.’

PRIMROSE GARDEN: THEME PACK
[ live preview and codes ] ✿ The garden will bloom come spring! I get very excited about every project I work on—which is a good thing, methinks—but when it comes to this project in particular, not only am I excited, I'm ecstatic. The Primrose Garden was introduced into the roster following The Garden's release and went under construction last autumn, so it's a pleasure for me to welcome spring with its release. The Primrose Garden brings new aesthetics, new and more straightforward customization options, and a much-requested graphic package!
I was inspired by social media, comic books, and stained glass (which—in my mind—makes sense) aiming to make the customization process fun and uncomplicated! I can't begin to describe how fun or rewarding the process of putting it together was. But I'm excited because you've been asking for this for a while.
And I've got some good news! This (plus another package of your choice) could be yours for free! To celebrate Springtime 2025 I'm giving away two theme packages to one lucky person. All you need to do to participate is reblog and follow! I'll choose a winner once this post reaches +30 reblogs. So keep your eyes open because Primrose Garden could be yours!

MOONFLOWER: WRITERBLR PACK
[ live preview ] ♡ [ get on payhip ] From the moment I understood their concepts, reading, writing, and everything related to literature has been an important part of my life. While I've centered my online presence around graphic and web design I discovered those online spaces thanks to literature. And while I've favored working over writing—which is unfortunately very relatable—in my time as a spectator, I've had the opportunity to get acquainted with Writerblr and their incredible community members. From this experience, I fell completely in love with how Writerblr members curate their blogs and communicate their projects to their followers, and the idea of a package made for them became one of my main goals for this blog.
The Moonflower Writerblr pack was made for writers looking for something elegant and uncomplicated. With user-friendly customization options, a contained layout, and strong typefaces, your words are the focal point. This theme package can be as minimalist—or as maximalist—as you wish. Whether you're sharing updates, writing dissertations in response to anonymous questions, or presenting graphics alongside your projects, Moonflower is for you! I fell absolutely in love with it and adapted it to my needs as an RPC content creator. So it's flexible if you would like to use it for something outside of Writerblr. With that being said, I hope you like it! And good luck with those manuscripts!

HESELTINE: THEME + GRAPHIC PACK
[ live preview ✴ get on payhip ] Thus comes the end of summer. I would like to address—first and foremost—that I worked on this package's predecessor without a second installment in mind, however, shortly after its release I found myself restless. The most extensive of my packages was out there and I still felt there was more I could do with it. That's when I remembered I strayed quite a bit from the initial concept to follow my little pirate adventure, and the reason I felt somewhat dissatisfied, was that the core idea was still trapped in my mind.
And so I introduce you to Heseltine Manor. Heseltine has all the best features from the previous package, with an entirely new aesthetic and graphic package and some improvements here and there. I wanted to create a more malleable version of the package—in terms of graphics and theme customization—so it was easier and faster for you guys to make it your own. It's been a delight for me to work on this package and to be able to share it with you, so I'm bidding this summer (and what feels like a lifetime) adieu by pouring a little bit of my heart into this package, using fairytales and enchanted forests as my main source of inspiration. This is what House Rowan was always meant to be, but as our dreams are in a constant state of evolvement (as are we) I should know better than to critique the process.

HOUSE ROWAN: THEME + GRAPHIC PACK
[ live preview ✴ get on payhip ] Look what the tide brought in! House Rowan was born from my love for 18th-century pirate stories and 20th-century slasher films. I wanted to create something evocative, and atmospheric, inspired by seaside landscapes and thunderstorms. I thought summertime would be the perfect setting as most slashers occur during summertime. I also thought pirates would be a good touch. This is my fifth RPG Package, and as my fifth, it's come to a point where I can acknowledge my approach; and how I will let myself be maddened by an idea. So that's what House Rowan's about—madness and atmosphere.
This is my most extensive package to date and one I've worked on keeping your feedback, suggestions, and desires in mind. The main suggestion I received was to add graphics to the theme packages. So I'm happy to let you know, after finding a way to make it happen, that House Rowan comes not only with your suggestions (mostly additional pages) but also with customizable graphics and PSDs. This is my first theme and graphic bundle, indeed, but not the last, as all my theme packages will include graphics and PSDs from now on.
Hope you enjoy, and have yourselves a Good Bloody Summer™ — Garnier

THE GARDEN: ALL-IN-ONE THEME PACK
[ live preview ✴ $13 on payhip ] Happy Early Valentine's! I created this theme for personal use, originally, and after some consideration (and motivation from one of my closest friends, Aurelia, dearest) I decided to transform it into a roleplay theme pack. I wanted to switch things up, however, and that's how I came up with the idea of adding built-in side pages to this theme pack instead of separate pages.
I love seeing how you guys make my themes your own, and I'm always taking notes of what I can change and improve based on your feedback. I couldn't help but notice the majority of RPGs that use my codes choose to create their own navigations, and similar pages, in the main theme—perhaps because it's easier to customize. So I decided to oblige by making built-in pages. All you have to do is copy, paste, add your own information, et voila! You're ready to go! Everything inside the pack is very straightforward—another goal for this year, cut my rambling in half—but if you have any questions my DMs are open.
Hope you enjoy, and Happy Early Valentine's.

GARNIERS THEMES: ANGELICA
[ preview ✴ $5 on payhip ] The following is my first release on the Writerblr Community side of Tumblr, so I am very excited. I was inspired by two particular things: editorial layouts and book annotations. I am itching to release more codes for Writerblr, so this is a way to set the tone and aesthetic of those codes.
Angelica is a transition between last year's releases, named after people, to this year's releases, which will be named after flowers. Angelica is the flower of inspiration, so it's the perfect name for a Work In Progress page. I designed it as versatile as possible, however, so you can use it not just for your WIPs but also your RPGs, your OCs, and even personal projects. I switched a bit between literature and unreality, using an actual short story I'm writing as a sample, to try and give you guys an example.

GARNIERS THEMES: DORIAN 2.0
[ preview ✴ pastebin ] Garniers has officially reached 400 followers! I wanted to celebrate this occasion with the release of the NPF Compatible version of my first-released theme: Dorian. Out of all of my projects, I know Dorian is your favorite, and I know I created the theme with a base I coded around 2015-2016. So I coded the theme once again, optimized and improved, as a way to thank you for your unrelenting support in 2023. There are certain changes, positive changes, but the essence is the same. This release marks the discontinuation of the first version of the theme—the download page has been edited to redirect future users to the new codes.
This is the second version of the theme, but definitely not the last. Dorian is something symbolic to me at this point, and I would like to emphasize that by revisiting and improving the theme whenever the platform calls for it. That gives us all something to look forward to. Without further ado, I hope you enjoy, and see you next year.

LEROUX: RPG THEME PACK
[ live preview ✴ $10 on payhip ] Happy Holidays 2023! I would like to introduce you to Leroux with joy, forever thankful for being able to share my content with you and also being able to share yours in return. I have had the pleasure of seeing my theme packs in action at your roleplay groups, and while it might sound silly I have to admit it doesn't feel real to me! Wow! You guys have created such beautiful things! Thank you for letting me be a little part of them.
This is a very book-inspired package. From initial capitals to text indents and serif typefaces, I wanted to give an acknowledgment to the works of fiction that drew me towards the roleplay community to begin with—in this particular case The Phantom of the Opera, by Gaston Leroux. I wanted to give you guys an acknowledgment as well, making up for the waiting with a surprise just in time for the holidays, with twice as many pages as my previous theme pack. I hope you like it, I hope you can make good use of it, and I hope this giving season brings you nothing but joy.

AND THE ROSE: RP THEME PACK
[ live preview ♡ $10 on payhip ] I have come to understand calling something a “passion project” is reductive when you apparently become passionate about everything. But I am going out on a limb and saying the Nightingale Duology (that's how it's archived on my computer, anyway) is my coding highlight of the year—even when I know Dorian, Isadora, and Augustus are your personal favorites.
And The Rose earned the spot as the first-featured Garnier Favorite simply because putting it together was such a fun process. That's the whole point of content creation for me, to have fun and do what I love, knowing what I'm creating is also going to be useful for someone else... So I'm hoping you like this theme pack as much as I do. I even did something I had not done with my codes to the date, which was using one of my own packs, for personal use. This has given me the opportunity to test the codes on my roleplay blog (garnierwrites) and smooth out kinks before they go live on my shop. The NPF beast has since been defeated.
Everything you need to know is on the live preview, from the specs of every page to a variety of different posts to showcase compatibility. This theme pack was designed for indie, multimuse, and 1x1 roleplay blogs, however, I made sure the look and layout were flexible enough to be used for RPGs with no problem. That being said I hope you enjoy this pack, and I hope to see you for the release of my next project!

GARNIERS THEMES: NIGHTINGALE
[ preview ♡ $5 on payhip ] I will wholeheartedly say I love all my themes equally and then do stuff like this. The following theme has been a passion project for me, perhaps the first-ever theme I planned on making and releasing, but only had the time and the experience to put together now. I am really happy with the way it turned out and positively surprised by how smoothly the coding process was—those are the perks of working on stuff tirelessly, I suppose. This is a multi-purpose theme aimed at being versatile enough for the following: personal blogs, writing blogs, graphics, characters, roleplay assistance, and even roleplay groups! I honestly think it might suit whatever you would like to use it for!
That being said, it's a little bittersweet to announce Nightingale will be my last theme before taking a coding hiatus to focus on my education, I will eventually start releasing themes again, but after working on 11 different projects in 2023 I believe it's time I take a break and focus on some different ventures. My commissions will still be open for graphics and I might take on a couple of theme commissions for minimalist themes exclusively, but I can't promise anything yet.
The information regarding the theme can be found on the static preview above, and as usual, you will find customization tips along the code. If you have any questions you can send them to my DMs and I will do my best to answer as soon as I can.

GARNIERS THEMES: LORD WOTTON
[ daytime preview ] [ nighttime preview ] Click the preview to find the download button! Hey, there! It's Garnier back at it again with another unprompted theme! This time I decided to tread uncharted territory by creating my first-ever bookshelf theme. In case you didn't know, I'm a major bookworm and between 2021-2023 I've read almost one hundred books—a feat I'm not trying to repeat, as I've made up my mind and decided to chill for a change.
The point is I wanted to make a super intricate Goodreads Challenge page with filters, ratings, genres, etc, etc, but as I was finishing the first version of this theme I came down with an illness and I'm technically not out of the woods yet. So for the time being, we're going for a very no-nonsense and straightforward book gallery to showcase your annual reads. Hope you like it.
Features
An undefined number of rows with 9 books each
A footer section (+ title, subtitle, and description)

AUGUSTUS: RPG THEME PACK
[ live preview ♡ $10 on payhip ] After several delays on my end due to changing my mind about the aesthetic and general feel I was aiming for, I am delighted to finally introduce you to Augustus: RPG Theme Pack! Crafted with a whole lotta love and an absurd amount of pseudo-elements and borders, this theme pack over here encapsulates everything I would use for my own roleplay group and is heavily inspired, as per usual, by the works of Oscar Wilde. More specifically Lady Windemere's Fan.
I know the play is theoretically a comedy, but staying true to my storytelling essence I put the theme together with videogames such as Resident Evil and Dark Souls in mind. I have my dear siblings to thank for the inspiration and unwavering support of my late-night coding sessions and my god-awful posture. Once again you have proven yourselves to be the muses behind everything I create and everything I put out there (that's addressed to the zombies, by the way.)
You will find everything you need to know about Augustus on the Live Preview, there is a detailed list with the elements of the theme pack and a couple of extras I took the liberty to add.
Features
540px posts
Full-width header (+ an optional fade-in header menu)
4 Sidebar sections
Footer with both a statistics and pagination section
Optimized for Beta Editor (+ also Legacy Editor compatible)

GARNIERS THEMES: DOMINIQUE
[ preview ♡ pastebin ] Shortly after posting my first codes I took it upon myself to start making my own pages for my projects. And after making my current theme within the span of a month, I also added a navigation page that I quickly realized could be of good use to others. Although it was clearly designed to go along with my theme, this navigation could work well with almost anything: group navigations, roleplay helpers, and personal blogs. If you use a lot of tags this code is for you. I named it after my dear friend Dominique because sharing is one of my main principles when it comes to friendship, and now I'm sharing this page with you guys.
A big kiss to Dominique. You're an angel.
That being said here's your friendly reminder that both these codes and my graphic templates are free for download but if you would like to contribute you can always buy me a coffee [ garniers @ ko-fi ] also I wanted to take the opportunity to let you guys know I'm currently looking for affiliates! I have a space ready on my sidebar for groups, helpers, and paid content creators so please don't hesitate to reach out!
Features

2 respective headers

GARNIERS THEMES: ISADORA
[ preview ♡ pastebin ] After seeing the positive reception of my previous theme, I had the idea of releasing a second version of it that strayed from the minimalist aspects I used for the previous one. For Isadora I revisited a lot of the elements I like to use on my personal themes as well as my roleplay group themes: shadows, transparencies, image hovers, and glowing text. I have to admit I always get static previews and live previews mixed up—so do let me correct myself and state this is a static preview and some of the theme elements look better on the live theme such as the audio player.
Although I made this theme for personal use I really liked how it turned out and I really felt like sharing it. So I hope you like it. The codes come organized and most customization options are self-explanatory. These codes are free as well as my downloadable graphics though you can also contribute and buy me a coffee to keep the resources coming and commission me for graphics (+ and codes coming soon!). The information is on my navigation.
Features
540px posts
150x260px sidebar image
2 sidebars (240px wide with full height)
2 current projects + image hover
3 navigation links + default links
a customized audio player
a customized answer format (revisited)
