the wolf became a recluse — her home miles from the closest human settlement: enough bread crumbs spread around jackson, to keep mountaineers and hikers away, or at least, far from her home during the full moon. she wasn't a danger. the alpha's progeny knew control well, knew none of her claws had dug into another human, knew that her tongue and teeth remained clean. callie kept to her word from all those years ago.

but there was now a trespasser. a stranger on lands rumored a beast's hunting ground, someone that did not belong in her forest. the tree line kept her body well hidden, having heard the red head's car pulling up and coming to see what she wanted. “i haven't hurt anyone, so what's there to talk about?” the wolf called from her cover, feeling the peculiar and familiar feeling of stinging anxiety crawling to the surface. “whoever told you otherwise is lying.”

charlie hadn’t expected the lead to pan out. most didn’t. but the grocery clerk in jackson had been nervous enough, and the guy at the gas station muttered about weird animal noises west of the ridge like someone who’d seen just enough to keep his mouth shut. so here she was — boots muddy, hoodie damp from snowmelt, eyes scanning the treeline like it might blink back. she didn’t call out, only stood at the edge of the clearing, holding out a peace offering: a thermos of coffee and a plastic-wrapped sandwich from town. 'i’m not here to fight,' she said, voice carrying without force. 'but if you are who i think you are . . . we should probably talk. before the wrong kind of people come looking,' @garouse ; liked.

Okay so Callie's relationship with Liam deteriorates, right? (Feel free to speak on it as well.) But what about, and this is the actual question, Callie's relationship (if she ever had one) with Hayden?

relationship questions always accepting.

that is, an interesting question! i hadn't really thought on it, but — hayden and callie would've been interesting friends. despite liam and callie's fallout, hayden and callie's would've remained somewhat the same.

callie would've wanted hayden to survive, and would've done anything to keep her alive, just as liam had. she would've been devastated at the news of her death, had she had time to process it post scott's death.

unfortunately at the time, she was a bit preoccupied dying herself: and then rushing to the mccalls once she got mason's call, so her attention was elsewhere.

hayden has that snark that callie likes. an energy that tells people that she won't be pushed and juggled around. and she would've loved early hayden and liam, probably teased liam and her for it a couple of times.

liam's actions are his own, and she doesn't hold hayden accountable for them, but seeing as hayden and liam became attached to the hip: it's only natural that callie started seeing less and less of her.

season one: #timeline: saving people and hunting things ( spn ). callie joins a sorority in college, with the encouragement of a senior. though when time for the initiation came, and the senior turned out to be an alpha werewolf, why she wanted her to join became obvious. the pack grew with each passing year, and callie just happened to be fresh blood passing by.

a hunter found them months after her first transformation, and massacred the girls of the sorority: she was spared, because she'd never consumed human flesh or heart. but she was warned to run, far, far away from here, and that if they ever caught wind of her harming a human, they'd find her and kill her.

season two: she hid herself in the mountains of wyoming, with the closest town being jackson, and has kept true to her words since.

Do Callie and Lydia like each other? Are they friends?

relationship questions always accepting.

i don't think it was ever lydia that callie didn't like, but rather the version she was around jackson. callie never liked jackson, and certainly doesn't now. but somewhere along the line, the two did become friends — callie liked the way lydia thought, the way she handled things and she looked up to her in that way.

they definitely ended up being good friends, but the two didn't really keep in touch after graduation. they sent each other the brief happy birthday messages, met up once a year if that. but yes. callie liked lydia, and considered her a good friend in the later season.
