How de fuq do you like Martin Garrix enough to make a fan blog? This is not hate just pure confusion. He closed main stage at a festival i went to and I had to ask my friends if we could go to the other stages because he was killing my mood bad.
This blog is 3 years old. I have no idea what you’re talking about, honestly. Haha. I’m not bothering much with the EDM scene anymore but I don’t want to delete this blog either.

Fresh Track Friday
Martin Garrix – Summer Days feat. Macklemore and Patrick Stump
The timing for this could not be any better and I think we may have a contender to knock Lil Nas X off of his high riding horse with this week’s Fresh Track from Martin Garrix with “Summer Days.” This single hits all the appropriate boxes for the modern day. It combines electro pop sound, rapping from Macklemore, and a nostalgia vibe with the chorus sung wonderfully by Fall Out Boy singer Patrick Stump. In addition, the track is less than three minutes to appeal to short attention spans of listeners and pump up its streaming numbers. Additionally, the humorous concept for a music video can certainly generate some buzz on social media to promote the single. Altogether, it has every correct ingredient for a successful song of the summer, but I feel unless you have been following Garrix in the EDM scene for a while, he doesn’t carry a lot of name recognition here in the states. Still, I’m rooting for this song to take off as I think Garrix has done a wonderful job putting all the elements together for the perfect summer song for 2019.
