Warning to All Freelance Writers
Boy, do I have a freelance writing scam for you. I was duped! Would be angry if I wasn’t so impressed by how well-executed this scam was.
While you’re scouring the online job boards for writing positions/contracts/freelance jobs – be it on PeoplePerHour, Guru, Upwork, or any other site of your choosing – watch out for a scammer claiming to be the Brand Point Experts.
The person I encountered claimed to be Mary-Anne P., one of their content directors, on PPH. They used the email address [email protected] and the Skype address: bradrichardson111. This person, turns out, is in no way affiliated with the real Brand Point Experts (something I only found out after jumping through a lot of customer service hoops to talk with officials on the site).
I know what you’re thinking; the excessive use of “ones” should’ve tipped me off. But since my business also started on a semi-personal email, I was willing to let it slide and thought perhaps I’d found a kindred spirit. The rest of their process was extremely well organized – extremely! They were thorough and solid. They possessed great English skills (which scammers rarely have), offered the right paperwork, and went through all the normal checks of a reputable business/client.
But, plot twist, radio silence and unpaid invoices are all that awaits you.
They will take your work and run. Steer clear and spread the word! If you get contacted by them, double check with the Brand Point Experts themselves through their site. They’ll know who they sent out headhunting and who they haven’t.

OK KO! Short: “Enid” thumbnail board (summer 2015)
This storyboard represents a crucial moment in OK KO! history. Ian and I were tasked with re-pitching the characters and concept to the network as three 2-minute shorts, as the final test before a potential series greenlight. We were in a hurry to show off more of this world, so Ian came up with this rough thumbnail board in two days. The final was animated by the geniuses at Rubber House.  -Toby You can watch the final short HERE!  Written and Storyboarded by Ian Jones-Quartey Story by Ian Jones-Quartey and Toby Jones

The Singing Ringing Tree is a musical sculpture in Lancashire, England. It is made of galvanized steel pipes that produce a dischordant choral sound that simultaneously resonates a range of several octaves whenever the wind blows through. Source

Gorillaz- Saturnz Barz
I hope this isn’t too late. I HAD to do this as soon as I got the idea, but it took some time. If you haven’t seen Gorillaz’ outstanding recent music video, do yourself a favor and check it out here.

Pt 2 . Boris the Wolf, the Shield and Wrench Wielder
Here is Boris the Wolf in his Kingdom Hearts inspired outfit. Since Boris looks similar to Goofy, his outfit is loosely based of Goofy’s KH outfit along with his shield. Goofy has a pair of googles with his KH outfit, but, I don’t think he ever wore them.
The symbol on his shield is of the avatar for ‘theMeatly’ who is the creator of Bendy and the Ink Machine. Boris’s shield is appropriately named “the Meat Shield” (lol,I’m hilarious). His wrench is called “White Sheep”. The wrench idea was from the wrench that’s collected in Chapter 1 of the game. I couldn’t really tell whether or not Boris has a tail by looking at the canon images of him from the game. If he does have one I’ll update the drawing.
A few more sketches are on the way :) I was really surprised by the number of notes my Keyblade Master Bendy drawing has received! That has made me really happy :’D Thank you to whoever liked and/or re-blogged my Bendy picture!
*If anyone doesn’t know about what Bendy drawing i’m talking about you can easily find it under the ‘Bendy and the Ink Machine and Kingdom Hearts’ tag. I’m having trouble making a link to the drawing itself… I’ll figure it out eventually.
