every new sabrina carpenter song can be summarized as ‘I’m soooo short and blonde and naive but I also have sex and you want to have sex with me I’m so cute” she’s just trying to reinvent smol bean 2014 humor like building jokes about having to lower her mic into her shows I bet she’ll start singing about needing a big strong man to reach the top shelf and open jars in her next single. her lyrics are insanely nothing and borderline incomprehensible just phrases designed to get stuck in your head on a loop and trend on tiktok. and sure yeah she can do all that and people can listen to it and enjoy it I won’t stop you music is subjective and short blonde women need a new savior I guess but I’m so bored of attractive women in music talking about sex appeal and men and nothing else without any lyrical depth and getting treated like they’re doing something new and revolutionary. I guess someone always has to be the token babygirl celebrity of the moment but frankly it’s weird and infantilizing it’s not even original and can I be honest. it’s really embarrassing to watch
