To anyone skeptical about things like a grown person seeking legal action about something that happened years ago, specifically things like child sexual abuse.

You might think, "this man is just trying to get a check"

Think about it like this, this example is specifically what I'm referring to but it may not be limited to it, jehovah's witnesses do not report things like child sexual abuse, or spousal abuse or any of those other things, they want to view themselves as a government, but in America they do not have that right to do what they are doing, they will cover it up and move that witness to another congregation, only for them to do it again, it never really gets solved, so what someone is really trying to accomplish by sueing the watchtower society (the leaders of the jehovas witnesses, ie the people in charge of interpreting, enforcing, and often times issuing scripture, written by them and viewed just as valid as the bible to its members)

What they are actually trying to do is to try and make it stop for real, really solve the issue, and perhaps gain some real closure... and I'm sure that if they do make any money from it would work out really great for them, less money in the pockets of those in that glorified nursing home.

I genuinely think that either my mom is a literal facist or theocratic bitch, either that or she just doesnt understand thw truth of the matter. But either way, i told her that with the mail in ballots it might take them a while to count them and she said that "if they couldnt count them in time then why did they go through with it" and other classics such as "it should be illegal for them to do that, if we (me and her specifically and other commoners i guess) wanted to do that we wouldnt be able to, I dont know if shes under the impression that mail in ballots them selves are just bad, or if they are holding open the door for people who missed the actual election day by still allowing mail in ballots to be turned in after the fact, or if she thinks that counting all of the ballots is bad, or something. I know that last one is true, she's like "it should be illegal for them to still be counting votes after election day has ended" and im like trying to explain but its just sinking in, I'm convinced she thinks that them counting ballots that came in before election day ends after election day and has it confused with them still letting ballots come in.

She also thinks that "stupid people shouldnt vote" but because i was in there spitting facts to the best of my abilities, she also added on "but also smarty pants who think theyre smart but their not smart spiritually"

She said i should vote with my soul and that Kamala Harris was a demon and that joe Biden is a puppet, and I'm sat here like, did this bitch really just say all of that mess, like what does she think a representational democracy should be? I think people like that believe that people should be voted in and perform their duties as they want them to, but only some, like i dont know if they think that Christians are still 99% of the country, but they are fully convinced that if the people want them to do something they should(asterisk) except when its something they particullarly dont like because of "a vocal minority" idk girl.

I wish i would have though of this description back when i was talking with her about it because i fully think she doesnt under stand the whole, "counting votes != letting people cast votes" != means "not equal to" in c# because i couldn't find the right one.

Anyways yeah thats the bullshit trump and his followers are going into this election thinking and going to the supreme court with because hes a joke and an opportunistic monster.

Like if someone hands him a gun, hes gonna shoot it, if someone hands him way more power than a president should have, hes gonna use it, if they give him this election and he wasnt the actual winner, by both the popular vote and the electoral vote, then yeah, hes gonna take it, and presumably keep taking for as long as hes alive.

While very nice and cool, may not have the effect they think it will.

We've come to a point where they understand why we want to get married both romantically and economically, and feel like shit that they cant technically support it because sky daddy said. Either that or they'll know they'll look like the asshole they really are if they let slip that they hate the idea of gay people getting married or in general so as a f you to gay people... Boom civil unions.

Problem is, it wont last. Either people on the ground and in public will talk about it like its a marriage and unless they are a technicality asshole (which while i love being technical, does not describe me) they'll probably even refer tp them as being married.

Either that or straight people might start getting "civil unions" because it becomes normal enough and wide spread enough that its basically indestinguishable from marriage but people just talk about it like that.

One way or another one will cannibalize the other, proving that these attempts to classify gay marriage as less than straight marriage will ultimately be in vein. Either that or christianity or what have you has an electric boogaloo and throws society as a whole back into 1950s. You know, by the definition of the old people who are still living which is when they were born, the most biblical and rightous time.

Everyone believes they had a peaceful child hood if they had good parents, because kids dont watch the news even when their parents do, kids just know toys, games, and such, and the reason a kid would have a bad childhood is because they were abused, otherwise they'll be fine.

Save my Matthew

This is Matthew.

Matthew is 22 years old, teaches karate to little kids

puts ketchup on his eggs

and Matthew has stage II colon cancer. He’s currently on Chemotherapy and needs your help. Matthew just completed his first round of chemotherapy and the symptoms are starting to arise. loss of hair, weightloss and bruises on his skin. As a friend it’s very hard to watch someone who could kick literal butt go through this.

I can’t even imagine how hard it is on him. Matthew is struggling, he’s already $30,000 in debt and this is his first treatment with at least 5 more to go. To make things worse Matthew isn’t getting any support from his family.  Matthew recently came out to them and he’s been disowned by his family and church, just for being who he is. Kicked to the curb and relying on friends for a place to sleep, and now it could also kill him, without the financial support he needs he can’t afford the treatments necessary to save his life. Insurance only pays for so much and experimental treatments aren’t covered. My name is Adam, and I love Matthew.

He’s homeless and now not getting the treatment he needs because of me. Matt came out to his family and he did it for me and now he’s living from couch to couch while working three jobs all to pay for medical treatment he needs. His dad told him he has cancer because of his lifestyle and it’s God’s punishment. I think Matt believes him. Matt strips at night and makes good money doing this but It’s hard on his body and he gets weak easily now. He can’t teach Karate anymore as the chemo has made his cartilage weak, he has a dislocated rib now.

He needs your help, I need your help. I can’t live without him and he’s too good for all this bad to happen to him.
