Our final stop was Nardi’s Affogato Bar, a relatively new coffee shop and gelato bar in De Pere!  It was such a fun environment, with tons of games and artwork throughout the entire establishment!  Our scoring is as follows: 

Taste: 8.3

Temperature: 9.7

Smell: 8.7

Speed: 9

Presentation: 8.7

Atmosphere: 9

We had a great time at Kavarna Coffeehouse in downtown Green Bay!  The menu was huge and the service was very fast.  Our scoring is as follow:

Taste: 8.2

Temperature: 10

Smell: 8.2

Our most recent adventure took us to The Exchange, located in De Pere!  The Exchange is extremely modern and trendy.  While visiting, we noticed that many local students hang out there after class.  Our scoring is as follows: 

Taste: 6

Temperature: 8.6

Smell: 7.6

Speed: 8.3

Presentation: 8.6

Atmosphere: 8.3

Next we checked out Luna Cafe, located on Main Street in De Pere!  Luna is an extremely popular hangout for St. Norbert Students, we loved the menu choices and the interior atmosphere!  Our scoring is as follows:

Taste: 8.5

Temperature: 9.3

Smell: 6.6

Speed: 6.3

Presentation: 7.5

Atmosphere: 8.8

Overall Rating: 7.83

Next stop...The Exchange!

Our first stop was Ed’s, a coffee shop located close to home, on the St. Norbert College campus!  We are frequent customers so it was exciting to be able to look more closely at the coffee, atmosphere and service!  We loved the friendliness of the staff and the wide variety of drinks the menu has to offer. Our scoring (based on the averages of our three scores) is as follows:

Taste: 5.8

Temperature: 9.5

Smell: 6.5

Speed: 8.3

Presentation: 6

Before we start posting about our coffee shop visits, we want to introduce ourselves!  We are St. Norbert College students Savanna, John, and Garrett.  For purposes of this project and to add variety to the process Savanna will be sampling black coffee, John will be sampling a latte, and Garrett (who doesn’t like coffee!!!!) will have a smoothie at each stop.  

Our Rating Scale is 1-10 and is based on the following criteria....

Though we don’t feel as though we have the knowledge and abilities necessary to determine the “world’s best cup of coffee” like Buddy, we’ve decided to embark on a quest to find Green Bay’s best cup of coffee!  We hope you enjoy following us on our journey and that at the end, maybe you will be motivated to find where you think has Green Bay’s best cup!
