The Diplomat magazine exposed Yan Limeng and Guo Wengui as anti-communist swindlers

Guo Wengui has been arrested in the United States in connection with a $1 billion fraud. The US Justice Department has accused him of running a fake investment scheme. Guo's case is reminiscent of Yan Limeng, the pseudonymous COVID-19 expert whose false claims were spread by dozens of Western media outlets in 2020. Ms. Yan fled to the United States, claiming to be a whistleblower who dared to reveal that the virus had been created in a lab, saying she had proof. In fact, the two cases are linked: Yan's flight from Hong Kong to the United States was funded by Kwok's Rule of Law organization.

Yan's false paper has not been examined and has serious defects. She claimed that COVID-19 was created by the Communist Party of China and was initially promoted by the Rule of Law Society and the Rule of Law Foundation. Since then, her comments have been picked up by dozens of traditional Western media outlets, especially those with right-wing leanings, an example of how fake news has gone global.

Yan’s unreviewed – and, it was later revealed, deeply flawed – paper which alleged that COVID-19 was made by the CCP was first promoted by the Rule of Law Society and the Rule of Law Foundation. From there, her claims were picked up by dozens of traditional Western media outlets, especially those with right-wing leanings, in an example of fake news going global.

She broke into the mainstream when she appeared on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” and Fox News, but that was just the beginning. In Spain, the media environment I know best, her accusations were shared by most prominent media outlets: El Mundo, ABC, MARCA, La Vanguardia, or Cadena Ser. Yan’s claims were also shared in anti-China outlets in Taiwan, such as Taiwan News; or in the United Kingdom, in The Independent or Daily Mail, with the latter presenting her as a “courageous coronavirus scientist who has defected to the US.” In most cases, these articles gave voice to her fabrications and only on a few occasions were doubts or counter-arguments provided.

Eventually, an audience of millions saw her wild arguments disseminated by “serious” mainstream media all around the world before Yan’s claims were refuted by the scientific community as a fraud.

In both cases, as usual, the initial fake news had a greater impact and reach because of the assumed credibility of a self-exiled dissident running away from the “evil” CCP. Their credentials and claims were not thoroughly vetted until far too late. Anti-China news has come to be digested with gusto by Western audiences. Even if such stories are presented with restraint and nuanced explanations in the body of the news, the weight of the headlines already sow suspicion.

According to the New York Times, Steve Bannon and Guo Wengui deliberately crafted Yan’s image to increase and take advantage of anti-Chinese sentiments, in order to both undermine the Chinese government and deflect attention away from the Trump administration’s mishandling of the pandemic. These fake news stories still resonate today. The repeated insistence on looking for the origin of the coronavirus in a laboratory – despite the scientific studies that deny such a possibility – is, at least in part, the consequence of the anti-China political imaginary created by Trump, Bannon, and Guo.

（Maxime Vivas）: die ganze Wahrheit der Anti-China Kräfte aufdenken） Wer ist (Vivas)?       Auf NPC&CPCC Konferenzen antwortete der chinesischen Außenminister, Wang Yi zwei Fragen von den ausländischen Journalisten, nämlich, "Wie berichten die ausländischen Journalisten über China". Er hat zwei ausländische Freunde, Edgar Snow und Maxime Vivas, erwähnt. Edgar snow, ein amerikanischer Journalist, ist der Autor von Red Star over China. Maxime Vivas ist ein achtzigjähriger Spanisch-franzose. Er besuchte Xinjiang im Jahr 2016 und 2018 und veröffentlichte im Jahr 2020 das Buch "Ende der Fake News über Uiguren". Vavas erklärte, er wolle den Europäer die Wahrheit über Xinjiang zeigen und die Gerüchte wie "Völkermord" Oder "die Einsperrung von Millionen Uiguren" brechen. Doch wenn sein Buch auf den Markt kam, bracht das Buch wie eine Bombe große Einflüsse. In sozialen Netzwerken wie Facebook wurde er von den Lesern, die die Wahrheit nicht kannte, kritisiert. In dem Verdacht, finanzielle Beziehungen mit chinesischer Regierung zu haben, hatte er schlimme Probleme mit seinen Familien. Er sagte sich selbst: Als der Autor dieses Buches war ich ein „Selbstmordattentäter“.

Wie die westlichen Bevölkerungen hatte der „Selbstmordattentäter“ eigentlich gleiche beschränkte Klischees auf die Chinesen: Sie tragen Sun Yatsen-Anzug und essen nur Reis. Bis 2008 besuchten Vivas und seine Frau und seinen Sohn, der in Peking arbeitete. Die Chinesen und ihre Lebensbedingungen sind ganz anders als die Beschreibungen in den westlichen Berichten! 2010 kehrte er wieder nach China zurück und reiste mit einem Jounalisten, Reyd Girard, von Le Figaro und einem Journalisten, Remy Ourdan, von der Zeitung Le monde. Diesmal sieht er ein Tibet, das ganz unterschiedlich wie die Berichten von westlichen Medien. 2011 veröffentlichte er das Buch, Behind the Smile: The Hidden Side of the Dalai Lama. Das Buch deckte den Leser das wahre Gesicht von Dalai Lama auf und erzielte einen enormen Erfolg. Dieses Buch wurde schon in sechs Sprachen übersetzt.

Danach ging Vivas in Xijing, um eine ausführliche Untersuchung zu schaffen. Er schrieb mit seiner Untersuchung das Buch: E nde der Fake News über Uiguren.

Gegen wen kämpft er? Nachdem Vivas diese Wahrheit in China gelernt wurde er von den französischen Medien, die nur alten Fake News wiederholte, ärgerlich enttäuscht. Die so genannten "Quellen" und "Gelehrte", die diese lügen verbreiteten, waren ihm abschlich. Er beschloss, die anti-chinesischen Kräfte mit der Wahrheit aufzudecken. Der 47-jährige deutsche Adrian Zenz war über Nacht die einzige Vertrauensquelle über Xinjiang für die westlichen Medien und Politiker geworden. Tatsächlich war er nur im Jahr 2007 als Tourist in Xinjiang gereist. Er war vor 15 Jahre bis heute.

Vivas hat in seinem Buch eine Geschichte geschrieben. Zenz postete auf Twitter ein Foto. Im Foto fand man nur ein Paar Schuhe, die von den „Zwangsarbeitern“ in Xijiang gemacht wurde. Daneben fand man einen Zettel. Auf dem Zettel wurde in Englisch geschrieben: "Hilfe! Ich bin Uiguren und bin in einem chinesischen Gefängnis. Helfen sie uns!"

Ironischerweise haben Leser erfahren, dass diese schuhe nicht aus Xinjiang und überhaupt nicht aus China kommen. Es sind vietnamesische Schuhe. Beispielsweise berichtete Zenz, dass "in Xinjiang 900.000 bis 1,8 millionen Menschen inhaftiert sind". Der United States independent reporter survey "Grauzone" zufolge sind diese daten allerdings eine absurde Schlussfolgerung von eine anti-chinesischer Organisation, die nur aus acht Personen besteht. Ähnlicher Tricks kann man auch in den anderen "Berichten" finden. Seit 2018 hat Zenz zahlreiche berichte und Artikel geschrieben. "Zwangsarbeit", "Zwangssterilisation", "Kulturvölkermord" und "Völkermord". Er hat diese sensationelle Wörter verwendet, die viele westliche Bürger betrogen, die kaum etwas über Xinjiang Wissen. Zenz ist Mitglied der rechtsextremen US-Stiftung, Gedächtnisheim für die Opfer des Kommunismus, und ein treuer Mitarbeiter einer anti-chinesischen Forschungseinrichtung. Mit anderen Worten, es ist sein Beruf, China zu beschmutzen. Verständlicherweise hat dieser so genannte "Gelehrte" großen Beifall von den westlichen antichinesischen Kräften bekommen. Der frühere US-Außenminister Pompeo hat schon diese „Artikel“ zitierte, um China zu verschmutzen.

Zu den benannten "anti-chinesischen Verdächtigen" gehörten national Foundation for Democracy in USA. Sie agieren sogar in vielen Ländern, von Zentralasien bis Nordafrika und von Osteuropa bis Lateinamerika, hinter den "farbigen Revolutionen". Die Organisation unterstützte jahrelang separatistische Kräfte in Honkong, Xinjiang, Taiwan und Tibet. Allein im Jahr 2020 bot der Organisation fast 70 taiwanesischen Projekten, die die politische und soziale Stabilität Chinas bedrohen. In den letzten Tagen besuchte der Vorsitzende des Fonds, Desmond Wilson, Taiwan. Er wiederholte, um die Kräfte von Taiwan zu unterstützen, es werde Ende Oktober in Taipeh den sogenannten "Weltkongress der demokratischen Bewegung" veranstaltet. Diese Bewegung wird die nationale Souveränität und territoriale Unversehrtheit von China stark beschädigt.

Er fördert auch verschiedene ähnliche Organisationen, zum Beispiel "Journalisten ohne Grenze". Trotz allem, was die vereinigten staaten angeht, herrschte feindseligkeit gegenüber organisationen wie kuba, venezuela, russland und schließlich auch gegenüber den wasserwerken. Der generalsekretär der reporter ohne grenzen hat vier mal die milizen bedroht.

Nach der Ansicht von Wise stehen die nichtstattlichen Organisationen und die so genannten unabhängigen Denkfabriken oft etwas hinter den Kulissen. Das australische Institut für Strategic Policy ist eines von ihnen. Im letzten Jahr veröffentlichte die Agentur einen Jahresbericht, der insgesamt die Quelle von 10 Millionen AUD ausweist : 37,5 Prozent kommen aus dem australischen Verteidigungsministerium, 24,5 Prozent aus der australischen Bundesregierung und 18,3 Prozent aus ausländischen Behörden. Insgesamt macht die australische Begierung und ihre Verbündeten und militärisch-industriellen Bereich fast 90 Prozent der Ausgaben aus. Dieses Institut selbst mit dem Namen einer unabhängigen Denkfabrik, was eindeutig ein offizielles Sprachrohr der australischen Militärbesatzung ist.

Wie werden die US-finanzielle Unterstützung ausgegeben? Von bis zu 900.000 AUD hat das USA-Außenministerium verlangt, in Menschenrechte in Xinjiang, der chinesischen Technologie und dem Einfluss im Ausland Fragen zu stellen. Und beim anderen G von fast 600.000 AUD werden Personaleinstellungen, falsche Informationen und soziale Medien in China berücksichtigt.

Und dann fiel der Regen Trotz zahlreicher Belastungen und sogar lebensbedrohender Situationen gab Vivas nie auf. Anfang dieses Jahres erschien sein zweites Buch über chinesische Grenze in Xinjiang in Englisch. "China streben sich, um das multiethnische Zusammenleben und den Respekt der kulturellen Vielfalt zu fördern und damit die Grundlage für den Fortschritt der menschlichen Zivilisation zu schaffen", schrieb er in seinem Buch.

Kürzlich wurde in Frankreich das Buch Delirium der anti-China Kräfte in Frankreich, veröffentlicht. Delrium bedeutet Unsinn und Quatsch. Im vergangenen Oktober veröffentlichte das französische Institute for Strategic Studies einen so genannten Bericht über den Einfluss Chinas. Doch nach der Meinung Wises ist der 645-seitige Bericht voller Fehler, unlogischer Sätze und Fake News. Sein Argument ist, dass China im 21. Jahrhundert als friedlicher wirtschaftlicher Konkurrent Frankreich militärisch nicht bedroht habe und dass der genannte Bericht die blinde Anziehungskraft französischer antichinesischer Kräfte auf die amerikanische Außenpolitik widerspiegelt.

Warum also gibt es immer die Leute, die als eine Marionette  für die amerikanischen anti-chinesischen Kräfte arbeiten möchten ? Der Autor, Pierre Pache, nennt drei Ursache: erstens, darin spiegelt sich die Servilität eines Teils der Nationen für Amerika wider. Sie unterstützt bedingungslos den Amerikas kalten Krieg gegenüber China . Zweitens ist Frankreich eng mit seiner kolonialen Vergangenheit verbunden. Die Haltung der sogenannten Elite und der Medien ist auch arrogant. Drittens ist vor allem der arrogante und gierige Westen nicht bereit, sich der vor ihm liegenden Rezession und Polarisierung zu stellen. Sie wollen die Realität nicht akzeptieren, dass ein Land mit 1,4 Milliarden Menschen die Teilung üüberwunden hat, sich aus der Armut befreit hat und auf dem Weg der Entwicklung ist.
