"so, we're gonna kill him, right?" it was a scarily nonchalant question to ask as she laid so peacefully in their backyard, soaking up the sun. sitting up, she looked over at the love of her life and her aloof exterior seemed to fade. "i know they'll be pissed but... we've had peace, harls. i don't want to lose it." ivy didn't care if he wasn't exactly like the others they'd known, she didn't want to take a chance on letting another joker ruin their lives.

"captain marvel and the wolverine... huh." james would have considered that a pretty unlikely pair, but then again he couldn't really imagine logan with anyone. stifling the millions of questions he had relating more to events before she was conceived, he gave in to one of his more childlike curiosities.
