               a beater’s bat rested in the palm of his left hand.                                             shorter but HEAVIER than what he was used to.                                       in his other hand rested a baseball.                  ‘ HEY BATTA BATTA ! ’                               his voice echoed in the corridor && with one swift movement                                    the leather ball went  f l y i n g.                   a loud THUD ! had him running -   - only to discover he had                          knocked over.. a knight.                               how peculiar hogwarts was turning out to be with it’s moving stairs &                       house names -     - who’d want to be a gryffindor when they could be a                                            T H U N D E R B I R D  ?

                 his face LIT up when he finally met another person his age.                           ( though it was clear from his  A W F U L  cockney accent & transition to an                                       irish one that he wasn’t from anywhere near the U.K. )

ok so the basics....

queenie goldstein took him in and basically adopted him bC his birth mother was v v close friends to queenie almost like her daughter or smthn im not good at time periods 

he’s a half blood. his mother was a witch and his father is a muggle but it freaked his dad out a lot ??? so his mom wiped his memory so he wouldn’t.,,,. kno.,.,., and then his mother died during childbirth ::((( and then he was taken in by queenie !!

he loves her sm as well as tina and newt and their kids good family .,,.,. anyway

he attended ilvermorny as a THUNDERBIRD for like 5 years. there was this one awkward year where he convinced queenie to let him attend a muggle school bc he was like ‘woah it would be so cool bc im out here in a secret world but what about the world right in front of me?’ needless to say hE HATED IT !! sophomore year in high school was trash.,,. all the classes sucked except for physical education. that’s also when he got into baseball and football??? he also went to prom bc he’s v charming and persuasive but other than that he had a trash time and went back to ilvermorny without leaving a note to any friends he made #ghoster

clay has always had a shit rep with the professors and administration tbh he never followed rules and stuff and was almost expelled three times !! three !! he barely passed any of his classes bc he was always too busy out doing other stuff.,.,., lOWKEY IMAGINE BART FROM THE SIMPSONS 

he once.,,. literally had someone help him fake his death to get out of taking some exams but he also didnt think it through bc two days later he was in class ALIVE AND HEALTHY 

he’s currently 18 and will turn 19 bc he was held back at ilvermorny because of his year with the muggles ( and btw he literally got a D in every class basically ) 

quEENIE decided he was a little too..,.,. out there bc lowkey nothing she did would make him stop being so fukign extra and obnoxious so she spoke to da scamanders and now he’s staying w them basically and attending hogwarts

DURING THE WILD PARTY HE JUST GOT IN BASICALLY and was sorted into gryffindor 

he’s also .,,. LITERAL trash and refuses to take  a n y t h i n g  seriously.,,.., if he were in 2017.,. he would literally still be dabbing with a fidget spinner in hand
