Hello and welcome to the Gears SMP!

Gears SMP is a streamed and recorded roleplay modded minecraft server!

Gears started as a personal project, and quickly became more popular than expected! Our first run of Gears ended due to personal life issues with some former members - but Gears is back for a second run!

We have lots of lore and worldbuilding for Gears, but the plot is entirely dependent on the players and their character’s stories. You’re free to watch any POV available to you, and you’ll surely catch different plot lines or sides of an overarching story!

Exciting news, everyone! The reboot of Gears SMP will be opening tomorrow - meaning people will be recording and streaming the first day!

Hello, everyone! We have an important announcement to make regarding the state of Gears and which way we plan to take the story in the future.

As you may have noticed, there’s been a severe lapse in Gears content. Due to personal reasons, many of us have been inactive for a bit. This is no one’s fault! It’s simply how it went for a bit because of states in real life.

However, we plan to remedy this. With ideas faltering for the current story, an unanimous decision was made to reset Gears. Players could either keep their character or make a new one - either way, the story and world would be reset. This is to give everyone a fresh start, now that we’re more comfortable with each other and our roleplaying abilities.

You’re more than likely to see a few old faces, and a few new ones as well! And we’d love to add to those new faces. This is why we’re opening applications again, for the start of the Gears Reset! We’d be accepting five people to start.

No worries if you don’t get accepted! It’s more than likely we’ll be opening applications up again once or twice. We keep every application we get, and review them each time we go over applications.
