Running late, Autumn
I was late for life drawing, or at least for joining the queue for a seat – but I had to stop and grab the phone when this happened.

Sunset, back at you
From our south facing balcony (that’s southern hemisphere south,so you’ll probably need to flip it in your mind) we get to see the afternoon and evening sun without being baked by it. It warms the place in the morning, then clears off and leaves us in peace.

Underfoot, after rain

Hanging in there
Moreton Bay fig trees spread their buttress roots along a sharp ridge. They ofen grow stouter and spread wider than else, but I’ve never seen such pronounced buttresses - they clearly have a job to do on this tricky site.
