Well aren’t they like in their 20′s? After all at the beginning of the movie (when they escape) poppy was a baby, but she could talk and speak normally so im guessing she was around 3 years old. This lead us to the day than they are celebrating 20 years fromm the escape.

So while the discourse is hot: what’s the fandom consensus on Branch and Poppy’s ages?

Ernesto was born in 1896

Imelda was born in 1899

Hector was born in 1900

Coco was born when Imelda was 19 and Hector 18, so she was born in 1918

Coco was 3-4 years old when Hector left

Hector died at 21 years old

It was 1921, when Imelda started making shoes.

Ernesto died at 46, in 1942

And Imelda died in her early 70s, around 1971

Saying he missed Imelda is a grave understatement.

There were moments it’s obvious he would take any excuse for physical contact.

Héctors hopless and yet utterly hopeful smile that maybe, just MAYBE she’ll humor him and he can touch her for all of 2 seconds while he helps her down.
