tugtupite!  not sure which skirt i like either :’v

tugtupite, my new gemsona.  (backstory under the cut)

she was made to work at kindergartens, moving on to a new one each time the planet was drained dry.  her job was to facilitate newly hatched gems and do basic training that ensured their loyalty to homeworld and reinforce the role that they were made for.

tugtupite had a very compassionate view of the gems that she raised, seeing them from an almost mothering view.  it wasn’t until she was assigned to the kindergarten on earth that her loyalty was shaken.  before this she had never experienced war or even seen a gem shattered.  seeing first hand how disposable homeworld saw the very same gems that she had brought into this world was heartbreaking.

when the rebellion took down the kindergarten she was stationed at, tugtupite escaped in the chaos

i havent quite figured out where she went but im not sure if she would have joined the crystal gems.  despite her beliefs being in line with theirs she was never made for combat.  the thought of being on any side of war would have terrified her and the idea of being forced to hurt the gems that she considered her children would not have even been an option that she'd consider.

she might have escaped with a handful of gems she was raising but this and her design are sort of up in the air!
