a/n: i dont usually do this kind of thing (1 prompt, multiple members) but in celebration of my tiny blog hitting 100 followers here’s a lil gift for all my soft abnews

‘This is such a dumb game,’ Daehwi said first thing. ‘WHAT A DUMB GAME!’ He repeated loudly at the door so everyone else can hear. ‘Honestly… how uncreative and bored do they have to be to come up with this of all things to play.’ He sits down on the floor and you sit down next to him, ‘Technically, its not even a game since you can’t even win or lose.’

‘Yeah… it’s pretty silly,’ you agree, ‘and also kind of unhealthy if you think about it. It’s like since we all gathered together, why not spread germs!’

Daehwi snickered at your comment. ‘That’s exactly what it is…also why would you want your first kiss with someone you like to be in some closet where other people just kissed.’

You shuddered. ‘Ew no, I would not want that.’

Daehwi nodded, ‘Exactly!’ he said, ‘There are so many better places in the world!’

You nodded. ‘Yeah… especially for a first kiss.’ 

There was a long silence. ‘Have you had your first kiss yet?’ Daehwi asked tentatively.

You shook your head. ‘You?’ 

Daehwi also shook his head. Silence. Again.

It seemed like it was your turn to ask a question to avoid complete silence. ‘…Do you like anyone right now?’ 

Daehwi shrugged. ‘Well not really… but I heard apparently someone likes me.’ He laughed, ‘But I don’t know. What about you?’

You nearly choked at his answer. ‘Me? Maybe. I’m not sure.’ 

Daehwi turned to look at you. There was a silence. 

‘Anyway.’ You cleared your throat. ‘Who knew 7 minutes would be this long.’ 

He nodded, leaning his head on the wall. ‘What else can we talk about…?’

You licked your lips nervously, ‘So…what are you going to do after this?’

‘Nothing much, I just have-’ The look in your eyes derailed Daehwi’s thoughts. ‘Why… why are you asking?’

You hadn’t expected the sudden question. ‘I-I don’t know.’ You stuttered, ‘I mean.’ You took a deep breath, giving up. ‘You know why.  Everyone knows why.’

Daehwi turned to face you completely. It took a second before realization dawned on him. ‘Wait, that was true?’ He said a bit too loudly. When he realized how loud he was, he lowered his voice and spoke softly, ‘wait… so it’s true? It’s true that you like me?’

You shrugged, ‘It depends.’

Daehwi was bewildered, ‘depends on what?’

You bit your lip, ‘depends on whether you like me back.’

He laughed, ‘are you serious right now?’

You nodded. ‘You’re the one laughing. I’m completely serious.’

He paused for a second to think. ‘You’re really… really amusing, you know that? So till the end you won’t admit that you like me? 

‘Are you really asking me to confess to you in this closet? I’ll do it if you want.’

‘No! No…you’re right, you have a point.’ He looked around the closet, ‘As we discussed this is not where I want anything to begin.’

There was a knock on the door. 7 minutes seemed to have passed too fast. Daehwi shot you a look. ‘We’re talking after this.’ He said. It was more of a statement than a question. You held back your smile and nodded.

The closet was not where daehwi wanted anything to begin, but you were sure that something had begun.
