Yeah so I’ll give this place another spin around the sun next month, but for the time being I’m working on my newest spur of the moment RP blog for a character from a game that isn’t even out yet.

The loud and sudden crunching and munching from down the isle caught the duo’s attention. Had Peridot not smashed the record of Wicked Rhymes, Spinel could have gotten away with it.

“What the fuck...?”

Leaning over the checkout counter, Blue spotted a tuft of pink hair sticking out from one of the isles. Looks like those rats are back again...

“Keep quiet. I’m going in...” Blue murmured to Peridot, as he grabbed a broom and slowly tip-toed over to the shifty and unknowing jester.

Tip. Toe. Tip. Toe. Tip. Toe

Blue reached the isle and raised the broom over his head like a baseballer gets ready to crack a homer at home plate. But just as Blue was about to come out swinging, he stopped dead in his tracks at what he saw:

A pasta-limbed Gem sitting on the floor, munching away at a...record.

“...”

Blue locked eyes with the Gem for what felt like years on end.

He may have a cool, neutral face, but deep inside, he was burning with red hot fury.

You know it’s a bad day in Planet Vinyl when Blue unknowing puts on ICP record over the store speakers. It was a true mark of the Saturday buisness lull.

And while Peridot whacked away at the ICP with his bare Limb Enhancers, the duo didn’t even notice the door chime open, as sneaky squeaky footsteps crept into the store.

“They’re Era 1 Enhancers, ‘bud’. Back when you’d have to be the biggest Clod to lose them so easily like many Peridot after me. Those fancy schmancy streamlined Enhancers are for cowards.”

“Don’t act all high and mighty just cause you’re an oldhead. You’re just as tall as any other Peridot with those barrels strapped to your arms and legs.”

“Perhaps, perhaps...But have you seen any other Peridot as of late with their Enhancers still in check?”

Sunday. The end of the week and a day off for Blue Onyx and Peridot.

They usually liked to take Sundays easy, just kick it back at the apartment back in Empire City, but today they decided to check out Beach City, just a for a small change of scenery.

In any case, they ended up in Little Homeworld, feeling way out of place.

Here are these two Gems from the neighboring big city, dressed in the freshest human styles of the late 90′s Punk movement, among Gems who were still rocking their threads from before the peace times.

Or at least Blue felt that way.

“Y’know, I didn’t think we’d be getting stared at a lot…”

“Speak for yourself. You’re the one dressed differently here. I still have my form from when I was first made way back in Era 1” Peridot flaunted, posing dynamically to show off for the sake of showing off.

But in his cocky stupor, Peridot accidentally smacked a passersby in the face with his bulky Limb Enhancer arms.

“Whoops.”

“Dot, pay some fuckin’ attention to your surroundings!”

“Hey, you alright? Sorry about that, my friend can be a real jerkass sometimes” Blue exclaimed, helping the downed Gem back to their feet.

Well goodness gracious, this Gem seems to have their rocks in quite a tumble! They’re in danger? Something about being an Executioner? Better let them on inside just to be safe...

“Uh...Yes, please, come in! I was just cleaning up a bit...”

The monastery laid quiet today with Moonstone’s absence, paired with the day being a day off for Gems who live inside as part of Moonstone’s rehabilitation program.

The frazzled Sodalite looks like they could be in some use of the program right now.

“So, er, Sodalite was it? What exactly are you hiding from, if I may ask?”

Today was a big day for White Zircon: watching over the Little Homeworld monastery while Moonstone was off-world for the day, helping White Diamond with matters back on Homeworld.

Needless to say, Zircon was nervous! But also enthusiastic! They were putting all that nerviastic energy to use by sprucing the place up! Cleaning every possible corner in every possible hall.

And then, a knock on the front entrance: Showtime!

“Ah, a visitor! Come in, come in! You must be weary!”

“My name is White Zircon, and if you’re here looking for Moonstone, I regret to inform you she is currently off-world at the moment. But perhaps I may assist you today?”
