What Is the Difference Between Foodies & Eaties

According to Wikipedia: “A foodie is a person who has an ardent or refined interest in food and who eats food not out of hunger but due to their interest or hobby”. But does every person who likes to eat and share photos of his food is a real foodie?
The Eaties First Want to Eat
While the foodies treat food as a hobby first of all and will never miss an opportunity to take a photo of the food, the eaties will forget to take a picture if they are too hungry.
The Foodies Keep the Best Secret Places for Themselves
When an eatie discovers a new place he’s very excited to tell about it to everyone and share his experience the more so when he discovers a secret place, hidden on a corner of an infamous street, that you can find by mistake or by a recommendation only.
On the other hand, the foodie prefers to keep the best places for himself and maybe will share with, you guessed it right, other foodies like him.
An Eatie Enjoy the Food as Is
Unlike a foodie, an eatie can enjoy food as it is. He doesn‘t need a filter to share wonderful food experiences while the foodie will always think: “Is the dish looks good enough for social media.
Conclusion
Don’t be a foodie(!) Try to enjoy the experience and not just think about how many likes you will get from the picture.
