Week 17: Insights
June 5 to June 11
During this week, our team gathered to achieve a substantial milestone in the completion of our product. It was a highly productive session where each member actively participated and diligently carried out their assigned tasks. Some team members focused on configuring the essential codes for the various input components, ensuring their proper functionality. Others concentrated on establishing the necessary connections through the Internet of Things (IoT). Additionally, a team member was assigned to fabricate the platform and base of the weighing scale or load cell, which is crucial for our testing phase. The output produced by the load cell proved to be satisfactory, as it exhibited reliable and consistent values.
Overall, it was an immensely successful day, particularly in terms of advancing the hardware aspect of our system. The concerted efforts of our team enabled us to make significant progress, bringing us closer to the completion of our product.

Week 16: Insights
May 29 to June 4
This week, we have several tasks to accomplish in preparation for an upcoming meet-up scheduled for next week. The purpose of the meet-up is to conduct a major update and perform hardware testing for our system. Our team members are exerting their utmost effort to ensure the best user experience, particularly for IoT. This includes setting up essential components that users would require to initiate the system, such as configuring the necessary Wi-Fi connection. I am pleased to report that this aspect has been successful. Overall, progress has been limited this week as our primary focus has been on preparing for the forthcoming meet-up.ChatGPT
In addition to the Wi-Fi setup, we have also been meticulously fine-tuning the system's security measures to safeguard user data and protect against potential vulnerabilities. Our team recognizes the importance of maintaining a robust and secure infrastructure, and we have implemented stringent protocols to ensure the highest level of data protection.
Furthermore, we have been conducting comprehensive performance testing to optimize the system's efficiency and scalability. By analyzing and addressing any potential bottlenecks or performance issues, we aim to provide a seamless and responsive user experience, even during peak usage periods.
Despite the limited progress this week, we are confident that the extensive preparations and attention to detail will yield fruitful outcomes during the upcoming meet-up. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to showcase our advancements and receive valuable insights from industry experts and stakeholders, which will further propel the growth and refinement of our IoT system.

Week 15:
May 22 to May 28
During this week, we didn't make significant progress due to our school's Wellness Week activities, which required our daily attendance. However, we did accomplish some important tasks. We successfully set up the super admin domain, and this week we also completed the admin domain. Now, we just need to make a few adjustments to the functions, set up the Constituents Page, and improve the overall appearance of the user interface.
Once these tasks are completed, we can move on to debugging. Our goal is to finish these tasks within this month, but we are facing challenges as we have many pending assignments in other subjects as well. Nevertheless, we are aiming to develop the Prototype and make it about 90% functional before the last week of June.

Week 14:
May 15 to May 21 This week, we are focused on further developing the program by refining its individual functions across all pages within each domain. The individual responsible for the backend is diligently working on setting up the database and linking all domains together. As for the rest of us, who are not assigned to the backend, our task is to ensure and finalize the precise functions on every page. We anticipate completing the backend tasks and all associated functions by the end of this month or even this week. This will enable us to proceed with hardware testing and ensure the logic functions correctly.

Week 13: Insights
May 8 to May 14
This entire week entails the ongoing development of a prototype and the completion of assigned tasks. As the responsible party for the front end, I possess limited knowledge in this area; however, I am eager to learn, as I have a genuine interest in this field. I am diligently ensuring that the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) are suitable and optimal for our users. The progress we achieve will be incorporated into our PowerPoint presentation (PPT) for updates, and I will ensure that the PPT is comprehensible and appropriate.

Week 12: Insights
May 1 to May 7 This week, we are finalizing the overall design of the system, including the UI/UX. We have made some progress on the assigned tasks so far, but there are still changes to be made to the design and additional functions to be added. These functions include login, help, and setting information, which were not presented initially. Additionally, we have acquired all the necessary components for developing the prototype. Based on this, we conclude that we will need a few extra days to make significant progress. We hope to develop each logical function this month so that we can present it back to the Municipal of Villanueva or Barangay Katipunan. This presentation will allow them to suggest any additional changes or modifications they would like to make.

Week 11: Insights
April 24 to 30
This week, with the idea or proposal finally accepted last week, we decided to directly buy the planned materials and components for making such a prototype to make the progress as fast as possible as the finals are fast approaching. With the given discussion, we conclude that we need to assign each of us a suitable task for every member to develop the program and such prototypes. In the mentioned week, we are currently taking our major exams, which is why we are constrained from making further progress, but we are already assigning possible tasks for the next week in order to make plans as smooth as possible.

Week 10: Insights
April 17 to 23 In this week, we are currently taking midterm exams in all major subjects, including Technoprenuership. Where we present our pitch deck and also validate our partially approved project. As we report the details and insights of our journey according to the content of our pitch deck, we can say that we are confident that we have provided almost all the needed information to defend our project or idea. As the reporting goes on and the questions and validation start from our instructor, we are being asked a few questions regarding many aspects of how we will defend or resolve such things. We somehow answer it and provide a solution to it accordingly to what we discuss in our team. After the end of the questioning, we are really grateful that our idea or project has finally been fully approved. Where we are given a lot of options to develop it smoothly in the near future, we will make it according to the skills we have and the time given throughout this S.Y.

Week 9: Insights
In this week, we make a PPT that covers the overall happenings in the interview that we did in the past two weeks. Were we able to summarize the things that we learned and gain insight about how their "Baylo Basura Program" works. We are really grateful that they were accommodating and accepted our request to conduct an interview. We are really prepared to do a report about the progress of our main idea that is related to waste management systems. Until the discussion is over, we presented the PPT that we made and told all the data and insights that we got from the interview that we did, hoping that the idea would be accepted. Finally, it's partially accepted, but we are truly happy about it, as we will make a new path in the endless loop that we do in the whole midterm. We will validate all the given questions that our instructor has given us and will take the appropriate actions accordingly next week. By preparing a project proposal for the target customer and still hoping that the idea will be given recognition. So that we can advance more and develop such an interesting idea based on what they truly want.

Week 8: Insights
April 3 to 5, 2023 In the following days, we decided to conduct an interview to Villanueva City that focused mainly on their barangay problems. We got a chance to interview two of their Kagawads in Waste Management and Animal Welfare, and we found out that they already have this kind of program that is almost identical to the idea that we wish to implement. It is called the "Baylo Basura Program," and the community is given a chance to exchange their waste for corresponding goods like rice, sugar, etc. But they have problems with their way of documenting and making such records and with the way they segregate such waste or garbage manually. They want a way to make things as fast as possible so that all residents can participate without consuming extra time by doing such manual records in every transaction. So, they tell us the summary of that kind of program on what is the process for collecting, dumping, recording, and other related problems that they have. We found out that we can greatly help them to resolve such things by resolving their concerns, and after the discussion, they recommended that we go to municipal so that we know what the real problem is in terms of this program as well as the problem of waste management in all barangays. The municipal officers welcome and permit such an interview. They give us plenty of information that will greatly help us respondent resolve such a problem, and they are willing to adapt and accept the offer. If we can solve their problem of doing such things manually as we emerge with advancing technologies, they want a presentation that will help them visualize how we are going to really resolve the problem, and they are willing to put forth a specific budget based on how we will resolve it and other related concerns that might be discussed in the discussion that will be held next week as we have a long holiday in that current week. We are greatly relieved that we have finally made progress on interviewing almost all important people who really have a problem. For the time being, we are constrained by the Municipality and Target Barangay to make a limitation for this idea and are hoping we can implement it in the other barangays.

Week 6: Insights
March 20 to 22, 2023 There's still no progress in our plan to interview those cooperatives that handle or have minibuses. We are still waiting for their reply and go signal, but we have a backup plan to interview other cooperatives near the city so that if we are delayed in making progress, we can still attain some information from such interviews. March 23 to 24, 2023 In these days, we report to our instructor the current progress in doing such interviews, that we still didn't get a response from those cooperatives, that they might be busy or not interested at all in giving time to such an interview. So our instructor gives the command that we should pivot and proceed with the different or backup ideas that we have. We hold an urgent meeting in those mentioned days to discuss what we will do to make significant progress. So, we discuss a possible four ideas for all of the members that we can come up with and make an interview on all of them to gather such data on what will be the best among the presented ideas and will be selected if we get enough response through it.

Week 5: Insights
March 13, 2023  We are presenting the updates and backup plans for our progress on that day and asking for a guide or clarification from our instructor on what we have to do. The first pages are all about the progress of our interview and what we encounter, and on the last pages, we propose new ideas, which we define as our backup plan. If our main idea is not accepted, we will proceed to our backup idea. The same day we automatically proceed to interview the target cooperatives for validation and suggestions, but unfortunately the branch manager is not there at that time, so their secretary has suggested that we go back another day. March 15, 2023 We return to the same branch where we wanted to do such an interview, but the branch manager is not available at that time. So, we have been suggested again to go back another day, but one of our members gave the number to the secretary to ask if the branch manager can contact us to do such an interview. The secretary then inquires whether our consent paper truly requires the signatures of all names presented on the paper. So we automatically went to the office of our instructor to ask for his signature, and we got it. All we have to do now is just wait for the call of that branch manager for such an interview, but we have a plan B to proceed to another cooperative near the city if the first target cooperative we want to interview takes too long. We will proceed with plan B.

Wee 4: Insights
March 6 - 8, 2023 We are working towards our main idea, but there are other things we need to do first before we can make significant progress. We have created a consent letter for each cooperative that operates minibuses, and we are waiting for approval from an instructor to conduct interviews using these letters. Once we get approval, we will send the consent letters via email to schedule interviews. If we don't get a response, we have a backup plan to visit the office in person and ask someone else for permission. March 8 - 9, 2023 The team decided that if the main concept doesn't get accepted or receives negative feedback from the Cooperatives who manage minibusses, we will move to the backup plan. The backup plan involves exploring other ideas that are being generated during the given days. These ideas are centered on Smart Devices that can assist households in managing electricity and water consumption. The team is making sure that these devices are affordable and practical, so we can make a significant impact. However, the team would like to seek the advice of their instructor on whether to stick to the main concept or move to the backup plan. If we stick to the main idea, we will make some changes to make it more practical and feasible.

Week 3: Insights
February 27, 2023 Preparing and validating the questions that will relate to the given ideas. February 28 and March 1 2023 We are conducting a 28 interviews. 7 per weeks till Week 4 for advancement to the data. We come up an idea to create an google form for individuals response of those interviewees and google drive for audio recording.
We found out that majority of the data tells that they are willing to adapt to the given idea or concept about applying the e-payment way to the modernize public transportation vehicles. But, there are a lot of pros and cons on the way of collecting the data. Here's the comment of some of the interviewees: *Yes to contactless *Undecided *Willing to adapt *No experience on riding a public transportation vehicles. *Not everyone can adopt as not all have verified e wallet services. *E payment is convenient. *Strictly in traditional way of payment. *Neutral In these comments we can say that there are a lot of things to add in our existing ideas to properly convince them on taking or using this kind of system. As we all know or hear in the news that every old jeepney vehicles will be not used forever starting on upcoming June 2023, so we researchers can fully utilize this situation to pursue our ideas in adapting to the new era. Rejection Therapy: In this activity I can say it really help me to start again developing my confident in asking different kind of strangers. By asking a rare question coming from me, it can be really challenging to face what they will react about my question. Thankfully they are friendly and reject nicely what I ask to them, that I want to get 100 peso on each of them. I don't have enough guts to pursue them again for the bonus points that if there's a chance that they will give them that amount of money would they give it to me? So I just stop when the three of them reject what i want. I can say that it's really a big opportunity to us to know if it's possible to get an impossible things if we ask them properly.
