FBBC Friends and Family BIG NEWS!!! We are thrilled to share that our beer has been making its way across Austin, San Antonio, and Houston as of last month! Our goal is to spread our beer far and wide, reaching every Texan and beyond. By early 2025, we aim to have our presence established throughout Texas! As we continue our search for the perfect taproom location in Austin, please note that we will be temporarily closing our Dripping Springs location beginning today while we search for a new spot closer to town. Our focus is set on efficiently distributing our products, ensuring that we deliver the freshest FB beer to our valued partners both on- and off-premises. You can expect to see us more frequently in retail chains, conducting in-store demonstrations and participating in local craft beer festivals. Additionally, we are in the process of reintroducing our seasonal rotations and rotating IPA series, so be on the lookout for these offerings in the market. We are dedicated to advocating for legislative reforms in the craft beer industry to benefit Texas breweries. With great excitement, we anticipate the future of Family Business as we venture into new markets with our acclaimed flagship beers and seasonal brews! 🍻

So they have officially closed their Dripping Springs tap room. With NO ADVANCE NOTICE. Just shut it down effective today because they are "looking for an Austin location". Even though most businesses stay open in their old location through the move. Should we take bets on if they'll ever open another tap room? Because I don't think it's going to happen. My guess for a while has been that they would be shut down by the end of 2025 and it looks like I might be close to right. They already shut down their on site brewing, fired most of the staff (and probably the last of the taproom staff has been let go now too), and have been pushing distribution. Now they are shutting down their tap room too and they seem very excited about increasing distribution. My guess now is they will never reopen an actual location and will just continue to outsource brewing and just continue with distribution.

And this makes the "family membership" even more hilarious because that means these people paid $1,000 for maybe a free beer or two and TWO parties. They basically paid $500 for each con sorry "party" at FBBC to watch Jensen drink and take creepy pics of him in the back room (that's what those "parties" amounted to - Jensen cons at FBBC).

Yeah I heard about this. And I always shook my head at the $1000 membership thing. For me, FBBC just hasn't been run properly from the start.

I've listened to this podcast. It was Kripke who wants Jared in his show, not Jared asking for the role) Kripke said he really wants Jared in his show and he also had been trying to get Jared at the show all this time, but he had been unavailable, and he added that hopefully he would get him for season 5.

No Cynifer, that's Jensen's department. Jared doesn't need to beg for work. Especially to be on a show like that!! The way she acts as if Jared's the only actor ever who's turned down roles because it's not their cup of tea. Lol

I am a bit late posting this but I met Jared over the weekend at Comic Con Liverpool

This was my second time meeting him as I saw him in Edinburgh last year. He was so warm and kind with me. He said he had never seen the jumper I was wearing before as it was a Scoobynatural jumper with Dean, Sam and Castiel in black and white. Such a cool interaction.

Later on, I attended his meet and greet and it was the best decision I've ever made. Jared is just the most kindest celebrity I've ever met. He gave very open and generous answers and it was interesting to hear him talk about his career and the impact Supernatural and Walker has made on all of us. It was so surreal to hear him talk in such an intimate setting as I really felt connected to him. Jared just gives his whole heart to his fans. I got a selfie at the end and I told him thank you. The best part of my weekend was seeing Jared and he just makes every interaction with the fans special. I love him so much!

If he ever comes to another con, I will meet him again and again.
