STOP STRAND DISCRIMINATION. WE ARE ALL EQUAL!
These days, there are many different forms of bullying and shaming that students encounter in the classroom. The most common type is called "STRAND SHAMING," in which a student is targeted for bullying or shame due to the strand they selected, which also includes their abilities and skills that were typically labeled as "basic," "cheap," and other derogatory terms. And it discriminates against them in their future employment and professions, labeling them as embarrassing utterances.
As members of the current generation, we should put a STOP to this kind of prejudice and begin valuing each other's abilities and goals for the future since no one's dream should be disregarded or minimized because it has the potential to transform their life forever.

In my 10 days work immersion at Kumon Learning Center was great and memorable experience because I learned so many things there and it help me a lot how to be a professional.
WEEK 1
Tuesday: My first day in work immersion. I was so excited to experience working in a professional environment. Our chief instructor let me do checking worksheets first.
Wednesday: This day, every wednesday the Center is closed but the teachers and us, checkers needed to come at the Center to checked worksheets and to segregate them according to the students’ surname so that the teachers will be able to record them immediately
Thursday: The teacher ask me to print a certificate for their students but after that I checked worksheets again.
Friday: There are not many students that time so the worksheets I checked are not that many.
Saturday: This day was very challenging for me, because there are so many students and for me it was very cramming, because the teachers in Kumon ask me to teach their students to read because they were busy with their other students too. But luckily I able to manage and adjust myself that time even though that was my first time.
WEEK 2
Tuesday: It was my week 2 in work immersion. I’m so happy because I see myself growing, and I’ve learned so many things.
Wednesday: The Center is closed. All the teachers are here at the Center because there are meeting about the Center’s new flow. We didn’t do checking of worksheets today.
Thursday: I checked worksheets so that the teachers will record it immediately.
Friday: I experienced handling students today because the teacher there in Kumon ask me because she has something important to do. I was nervous because it was my first time but I am so relieved that it was never hard at all. In fact, I am happy handling those students because they were very kind and friendly.
Saturday: It was my last day. Our chief instructor treat us with a milktea and snacks. I was so happy because all my co-workers there are very kind and friendly, and I will cherish that experiences and memories that forever.
