Genna und Jesse Biographie - auf Deutsch

Genna & Jesse zeichnen sich durch eine einzigartige Alchemie aus, die aus der schrulligen Chemie, den komplizierten Gesangsharmonien und dem leidenschaftlichen Geschichtenerzählen entsteht, die ihr Songwriting und ihre lebhaften Auftritte prägen. Mit Anklängen an Folk, Blue-Eyed Soul, Jazz, Blues, Torch Song und populäre Musik aus den 60er und 70er Jahren kann das von ihnen selbst gewählte Genre "Retro Soul Pop" nicht ganz erfassen, was sie in ihren fröhlichen Live-Shows und sinnlichen, durchdachten Alben hervorzaubern.

Die beiden setzen sich über die Konventionen der Musikindustrie hinweg und machen einfach das, was sich gut anfühlt, und diese genreübergreifende Hingabe an die Aktualität und Freiheit hat eine aufregende und unwiderstehliche Wirkung.
