Barrick, my kindhearted bugbear paladin. He is also a beekeper and his smites are the stings of the mighty celestial BEES.
I played him in one of the amazing Feywild mini campaigns ran by @tenderlyangstyfox where our party was sent 30 years back into the past, where we met the resistance fighting against a villain who already won in our present time. In the end, when the party found a way out of the Feywild and back to the future, Barrick decided to stay behind and help the resistance, promptly breaking everyone's hearts. Maybe one day, he and his friends will meet again! He might have spent thirty years fighting an unwinnable war, but he still remains true to his oath to preserve the light, kindness and beauty of this world, and never lost hope.

its so fun to make a character whose moral compass is not actually based on their own personal ideals but is a poor imitation of a more grounded person they care about. if a beautiful woman disagrees with me i will immediately change my views. idgaf about this problem but my best friend WILL get mad at me if i don't help solve it

“I raise my shield to protect. I swing my blade to execute.“
Say hi to Rhogar, my bf’s dragonborn paladin from our latest d&d campaign. He can be a real pain in the ass but his sword is magical so we just bear his being lawful good. And this poor boy also has to endure the sole existence of my bard, if not her idiotic actions. This was his gift for Valentine’s Day, and I’m more than late in posting this as usual. I had a lot of fun doing it and my boyfriend loved it, and this also makes me really happy. I hope you’ll love Rhogar too!
