Change of Heart

They said that if a relationship lasts for more than 7 years, then it could last a lifetime. I wanted to hold on but losing sight of what I saw when I started was never an idea I mind having before, until things started to change. Could it be that it was just a beginner's spirit or am I just being too ahead of myself that I wanted to finish the journey just before the real outcome turned out? The joy, the laughter, the competition, the struggles, the disappointments and frustrations, the beating of the deadlines, the OTs, the tenure and the newbies, the friendships, the mentoring process and mastery of the skill and all the story behind the strength of our team is now starting to become a burden to me, or should I say to us.

Surviving must have been a huge factor that's why I'm committed then being grateful to what the account had given me is the other that inspired me to do my best to the point that I never wanted to disappoint anyone.

"Must have seen the red flags than considering it a roadblock" was what I told myself when this crisis happened but who knows? It may still turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
