South African Postal Address Example
Unlike most other countries in Africa, South Africa has no zip codes, but it does have postal codes. Using postal codes makes it easier for delivery companies to deliver mail to homes and businesses. In fact, they have over 2.5 thousand post offices across South Africa.
The South African postal code is also a good way to sort mail. The code is comprised of four digits: the first two digits are the postal area, while the last two digits are the mode of delivery. The postal code isn't just used for sorting mail, though. It also serves as a basic spatial data unit in geographic information systems.
The new South African administrative system made it possible to reorganise the country's ten traditional divisions. In the process, it introduced nine new provinces: Gauteng, Free State, Western Cape, North Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, South Western Cape, Limpopo, Northern Cape and Northern Province. These new provinces are divided into 52 districts.
The new administrative system ushered in a new era of South Africa. Apartheid was not an ideological concept, but racial segregation based on race and class did have a major impact on the allocation of land and resources. To mitigate this, targeted transfers were made to avoid strengthening a unified state dominated by blacks.

The new system also introduced the "Smallest Ms" award, which was a small device that could deliver small letters. The new system was introduced in 1994, shortly after the end of Apartheid.

What is the Difference Between a PO Box and Street Address?
Whether you're sending mail to someone or looking for a physical address for your business, it's important to understand the differences between a PO Box and a street address. In general, a PO Box is a mailing address that only receives postal mail. A street address is a physical address that can receive mail from FedEx and UPS. However, there are some restrictions to using a PO Box.
The first difference between a PO Box and a street name is that a PO Box cannot be used as an official business address. However, a street address can be used for business registration and Google verification. In addition, a physical address can be used for virtually anything.
The second difference between a PO Box and a physical address is that a PO Box can only receive mail from the United States Postal Service. A street address can receive mail from any mail carrier. However, some retailers do not ship to PO Box addresses. In addition, you may not be able to track your mail while traveling.
A post office box is a U.S. government lockable mailbox. It is also a type of mail-receiving address. In order to find a post office box, you can visit your local post office and ask for a mailbox. You can also check the upper lefthand corner of a mailing envelope for a PO Box.

A PO Box is considered a preferred delivery address by the United States Postal Service. This is because it's more convenient and cheaper to deliver mail to a PO Box. The postal service has established a PO box facility in every post office. However, only certain post offices offer Street Addressing, a feature that allows the postal service to deliver mail to a PO Box.

The Difference Between an Address and a Postal Code
Having an address and a postal code can be confusing at first. The two may seem to have the same function but in fact, they do not.
The best way to figure out which one is right is to learn more about the function of the different elements in an address. The best address is the one that has all the elements in a correct order.
The postal code is always on the bottom line of an address. The first line should be your name and the second line should include the street name and building number. If you live in an apartment, you may have to include the unit number.
The postal code is required for delivery. It also helps the USPS determine which route to take when sending mail. It is a good idea to put the code before the proper name of the county or state.
The proper way to write the postal code is to write it in 10-point font and not with a # sign. You may have to put it after your city name or county name, but not before.
In some countries, you may have to include the postal code and the country or state name in a single line. In other countries, you may have to include it in two lines.

The postal code is one of the most important elements in an address. If you don't include it, your mail may be delivered to the wrong address or delayed by two to five days.
