My idea for "Fiendsmithless" Fiendsmith, where instead of Fiendsmith Engraver you pray that you mill King of the Swamp and do the Fiendsmith line with Weiss, Lightsworn Archfiend. Ratios aren't perfect but this works like a normal Lighsworn/Tearlaments deck and roughly 40% of the time you end with a Fiendsmith Desirae on the field. Fiendsmith Tractus searches Weiss and can discard a Tear or get a Shyama or Trivikarma into the GY.
It's ok.

gonna try to get to diamond with this deck (currently plat 4). its fun as hell because you have a lot of non-negate interactions, plus sometimes people see me make alembertian to search circular and just surrender, probably because they can’t handle how cool and smart i am for thinking of that combo. the mathmechs aren’t even really bricks because they help you get to bagooska in a pinch, plus if you draw circular you can just heatsoul pass. steelswarm roach is like the 8th best generic rank 4 so he gets to hang out, i guess

Master Duel WCQ 2023 DLv MAX decklist (Ishizu Naturia Vernusylph)
Tearlaments games were actually about 60% in my favor through the ranks but there weren’t as many of them as you might think. Good Floowandereeze match-up (Naturia Beast solos a lot of the time), good Spright match-up (same as before), TERRIBLE “60 random anti-Tearlaments cards” match-up
I would rather have been playing Donner, Dagger Fur Hire than Protector of the Agents - Moon, but I ran out of UR dust... most important cards in the extra besides the Naturia stuff are Bagooska for when you either brick or get Maxx “C”‘d and Abyss Dweller for the Tearlaments match-up. The rest are mostly personal preference.
You could maybe cut the deck down to 40 cards by taking out 1 Naturia Sacred Tree, the Naturia Horneedle, and the Crossout Designator, but with as many soft bricks as this deck is running 43 is honestly fine. 2 Naturia Beast came up surprisingly frequently, and the most shocking thing was probably how many games Naturia Stinkbug won me (like, at least 10% of my wins were from just Stinkbug). Get stinkbugged lol.

This is my current irl decklist, minus a few cards that are a little expensive at the moment. Parallel Exceeds is generally a bit bricky but serves as a Small World bridge in this build. The Arrival Cyberse @Ignister is tech against Tearlament; unless they side in a kaiju, they generally don’t have a way to get over a 6k or even a 5k unaffected monster.
