Made in Mario Paint on my Nintendo Switch (if you couldn't already tell!).

As a Super Mario fan artist I felt contractually obligated to make at least one art piece using Mario Paint, specially now that it's on the Switch. I had much more fun doing this than what I initially expected!

This felt like I was fooling my brain into playing a video game instead of working on art! Lol

I love the crayon texture.

Minion Kart World. 🏁🏎️

The fact that you can play with a Goomba or a Sidestepper (the crab) in MKW is insane. These generic baddies don't get enough attention so I drew some.

I did more, but these took longer to paint than expected, and I already kind of lost interest in finishing the rest. If they get enough attention, I might color and upload more.

A color pencil drawing I made back in 2020 for @astrallum. Our Mario OCs creating a Pure Heart! 💗

In Super Paper Mario the McGuffins you collect are these Pure Hearts. According to the game's lore, they were created by the Tribe of Ancients with the power of love. Our OCs love each other like that!

The REAL King Boo!

Something I'm a bit disappointed about Mario Kart World is that its King Boo's design is not the one from Luigi's Mansion. He already was in Mario Kart Tour so going for his other design was taking a step back.

They don't have much of a lore. Vandiwood for some reason uses a wooden mask, though.

More Mario OCs! 💣👻

I made these years ago for some friends. I thought that it would be awesome for them to also have Mario OCs. The Bob-omb and Boo were made for @astrallum back when we were just friends. The Boo's design is outdated now, though. They also had names but they are outdated, too.

Amber is fire breathing, shaman/druid/witch doctor Snifit with a "living" Dry Bones skull in their staff. They get their animal ears and tail thanks to the multiple Super Leaves they carry. I seriously love the design and concept for this one, although my friend redesigned it a little, which is fine!

And there's Scout Guy, a very fast Shy Guy!

A bit late for Sonic's 34th anniversary, right? Done with Chameleon pens.

I'm not really a Sonic fan although I have enjoyed some of his games. I don't think I have drawn him before, so it was difficult to make his spikes look right. Got @ldranzer's help to draw him right!

So, this is a self portrait, lol.

I went to an art expo in my city this past weekend and I was doing drawings of people in person. This was the promo art I made for it! It reads "Your portrait in caricature" in Spanish. I used Chameleon pens which were a lot of fun to use! I will be using them more now!

This looks a lot better in person I swear. For some reason the colors don't quite look the same on a screen.

[OCs] VT and Koopleaf. 🍄🐢

VT (short for Vermillion Toad) is a little swordsman Toad, an OC that actually belongs to a friend, and he is the most daring, most righteous, bravest Toad of them all! Koopleaf is a Koopa Troopa who was inspired in my brother. Both characters wield legendary weapons: Excaluber, a sword able to stop time; and the Plasma Weapon, an object that can change forms.

This was done years ago with color pencils. I still like them! They were in an old notebook which was in poor conditions so Astrallum cut them out and pasted in a separate paper.

I have more characters like these in this format, soon to come!

My main Super Mario OC, Merlock the fiery Shaman, and Merlancholy the blue Shaman, an OC I made for my sweetheart @astrallum so Merlock could have an equivalent romantic partner as well. They come with their own familiars: Lava Bob the Lava Bubble and Emberly the Ember.

This was done years ago with color pencils. I still like them! They were in an old notebook which was in poor conditions so Astrallum cut them out and pasted in a separate paper.

I have more characters like these in this format, soon to come!
