Just migrated from Fathom Analytics to datafa.st. Why? Because Datafa.st seems to be better catered to entrepreneurs. The dashboard is a lot more streamlined, and gives you the metrics that matter the most for an entrepreneur.

AI growing, culture rising
As AI starts to take out the operational/execution layers for humanity, I'm noticing more content that is highlighting cultural pride. Below are just a few.
I think this will only increase as humanity starts to question what it means to be human in an AI future. As a result, we'll start looking back to our own roots and ancestry, to pull out the values that make us feel the most aligned (as humans).

Damn it. Up late again. Why'd I have to have so many ideas running through my head right as I'm ready to go to bed. Just spent an hour downloading it all into Notion, with the help of ChatGPT.

An interesting look into how nurture shapes nature. Some folks believed that we were all born a certain way, and that we couldn't do anything about it. New evidence suggests that this is not always the case - take for example identical twins who end up becoming vastly different over time.

Recently started a series called Manifest, which was recommended to me by my mother. Surprisingly, it’s turned out to be quite good! Been a while since I’ve had a show keep me guessing each episode.
Today’s theme was geared around the idea that “we’re all connected.” And indeed we are!
From The Butterfly Effect to Chaos Theory, these things are all attempts to explain the intricate connections we all experience every day at a micro-level. Unfortunately, since we’re all so wrapped up in our own lives, we barely take time to pay attention.
In the show, a group of passengers are forced road a result of mysteriously disappearing for 5 years…

"Economists define value in terms of utility. Utility is a metric of satisfaction that a person derives from consuming a good or service or taking part in an activity. Utility is typically measured by a person’s willingness to pay for the good, service or activity or their willingness to accept compensation to surrender it."

The Pacific Ocean is Larger Than All Land On Earth
The Pacific Ocean covers 165.25 million square kilometers. To put this in perspective, the Earth’s landmass covers 148.94 million square kilometers. 165.25 > 148.94

A really interesting interview with Uruguay’s former President, Jose Mujica, who lived a very modest life despite being one of the nation’s most powerful men.

Christianity teaches the inherent sinfulness and fallen nature of man. In Machiavelli’s words (D II 2), it places “the highest good in humility, abjectness and contempt for things human” as contrasted with the ancient religions which “placed it in greatness of spirit, strength of body, and all other things capable of making men very strong.”

“In short, princes aside, the symbiotic combination of thought (doctrine) and institution (Church) was the real sovereign, one that tyrannized the common people no less than the mind of man.”

The Aztecs of Mexico: A Zero Waste Society - Our World
"Aztec society expected its rulers and nobility to be role models and stipulated stiffer penalties for them than for the general population if they violated the law. Wastefulness was not tolerated, particularly among the elite: children of nobility were sentenced to death if they were wasteful."
Would you say this is "primitive", or highly evolved and necessary?
