☄ - Sephiroth was a figure of stoic resolve, never allowing a single tear to escape his eyes. The most he could manage were strangled grunts or soft whimpers that betrayed his inner turmoil. His fingers intertwined with yours, gripping with fierce intensity, still having the awareness to hold back in favor of not crushing your bones. The medics, bound by their protocols, offered no words of solace. They were forbidden from doing so. They focused on administering the mako and pain relief instead before swiftly leaving the room, abandoning Seph to grapple with his injuries while laid out on a bed in a white, empty room.

I’m incredibly soft for this, idk why. Seph is just….such a kid here. The way he’s sitting all fidgety, how his face lights up, and how he’s listening to Lucia (who is known for training cadets, so she clearly has a soft spot for the youth). It’s so sweet.

Seph needed the big brother/dad figure in Glenn and then Lucia could have been like a trusted teacher who totally also had cool wine aunt vibes with her sniper skills and gothy fits lol. I love the dynamics. RIP squad.
