if anyone is wondering, i’m from spain and basically in that version they are called like that. i think this is the first time i actually noticed there were more names for them and i was like wait what-- i got kinda confused tbh

     He was the best of his race.

     The familiar figure caught her attention, making her steps stop. It was, with no doubt, the one who was proud. One of her companions during the time she was truly alive, one of the chosen. He wasn’t that talkative and more than once his words were for praising himself. He sometimes acted somewhat all high and mighty, it could be said. Still, the redheaded woman could understand how he could be feeling, knowing he was nice deep down. Also, it was truth he was the best Rito. Nonetheless, he met the same fate like the Gerudo chief and if she returned from the dead, it wasn’t a surprise that he did too.

     So there he was, trying to do his best as he always did with his training. However, he seemed annoyed, something that was quite normal, she thought. Like him, she was limited. They couldn’t use their full powers and they were even weaker. Their weapons were no there to be seen either. Towards this, Urbosa felt a bit like the proud Rito, who groaned each time he saw he couldn’t make the wind his best friend again.

     “ You seem really frustrated, Revali. ” When she observed him for a while, she decided to start the expected conversation. Why wouldn’t she talk to him, after all?

     It had been some days since the chief’s arrival and still, she didn’t know what was happening exactly. The kingdom around her was quite different from what she once saw. However, some things never changed and reminded her of home. Was this Hyrule or a different kingdom she was brought to without consent? She remembered she had a conversation with someone... but she didn’t remember that much what they talked, her mind being fuzzy about it. It was kind of a punishment for the Gerudo, who really wanted to know. Besides, her companions, including the Princess and her Knight... there was a chance that they were here, too.

     There were even people who resembled Hylians, but now there was one specifically that caught her attention. He really seemed one of them, though nobody she met before. And not only that, his clothing... did he belong to the Guard somehow? 

     “ Hylian, allow me some questions. ” It was a serious matter and she showed it with her tone. “ Are you from the Hyrule Guard? If so, where could I find the Princess? ” She knew if she was there, she also could find the Hero. That way she could kill two birds with one stone.

finished replies, now i’ll start writing the rest of starters! this is just a friendly reminder for me and for those who liked the rp ad so they don’t get confused, though there are people who wanted a starter and didn’t like it anyway

“I see you are as passionate as you’ve always been, Urbosa.” The Gerudo certainly carried a bright flame that Mipha had always admired. The passion to always speak your mind… it was something that the princess herself lacked. She gave a small wave as she offered her usual smile.

“It has been a very long time, hasn’t it?”

     And she finally reunited with someone she knew. Urbosa was no surprised to see the Zora here. If she returned from the dead, the rest would probably do the same. Not that she was annoyed due to this fact, but instead she was glad to see a familiar face and see her once again. However, she would admit that interrupting their rest was kind of impolite.

     “ Yes. It certainly has been, Mipha. ” She replied to her greeting with gentle smile. “ Tell me, how are you doing? I suppose you are confused. ” There were some times where the Champions talked like this, but the time they shared together was usually about business. It was appreciated to have these conversations calmly now that the Calamity was gone.

     “ Some... That could be questionable. ”

Haru was very much lost, both literally and in her own thoughts. So she couldn’t resist the quick hitch of her shoulders in surprise when a voice called out so close to her. Haru turned to make sure that she was indeed the one being addressed, and- 

Oh, wow. She was told that people of all types lived in this city, but this woman was unlike anyone Haru had previously met, or even seen on TV! She was so tall, her hair such a long deep red, and- beautiful! It’s like she came straight out of a fairy tale! And oh, goodness, Haru was staring. 

“Do I really seem that obvious?” She smiled in a way that she hoped was more friendly than nervous. “Yes, I actually arrived only yesterday. And yourself?”

     Once the first question was done, a laugh came out from Urbosa. “ Oh dear, your face is telling me everything. If you could see it, you would know what I mean. ” It wasn’t something hard when her lost expression was written all her face. Not that the chief was something like a mind reader, but the girl herself let it be noticed. “ Do not get the wrong idea. I understand you are like this now. ” After all, she just arrived here too. She didn’t understand what was happening.

     “ Yesterday, too. We arrived the same day, then. ” She started to look attentively to her appearance, which as said, somewhat resembled Hylians. However, the information she was getting confused her even more about this place and its people. “ Excuse me, but may I ask you something? ” Education was first.

Marina held out a hand to shake, figuring it’d be best to just… be open and friendly. No reason to make enemies this soon. “Oh, so we’re in teh same boat, yeah?”

She tried to sound relaxed, which unfortunately made her sound a little more stiff than she would like to. Marina cleared her throat. “…I’m an Octoling, so… I guess? I’m supposed to be able to turn into an octopus, but I think it’s… broken.”

     The redheaded nodded as she shook hands with the octopus. She could feel she was a bit nervous for some reason and she supposed it could be that she was afraid of what she would find here. Therefore, Urbosa tried to be seen as relaxed as possible, since it wasn’t her intention to intimidate her either.

     “ An Octoling? Never heard about that race. ” She paused. “ I am a Gerudo. I am not able to turn into something, but I still have some powers. Weapons, too. ” Which were limited and directly, she didn’t have any of her weapons, only a wooden sword that made her somewhat annoyed. “ I know how you could possibly be feeling right now. Who knows why this is happening. ” And if this was Hyrule, it made less sense.

the woman uses weird words, and curiosity’s interest is piqued. “what’s a zora? is it a fancy fish? i like the fat fish at the park. they eat lots and lots.” a nod, “and they’re pretty colors. a lot of them are orange like me!”

     “ Oh, you do not know what are Zora? ” She asked, curious about her doubts. It could be normal if this wasn’t really Hyrule or if the race extinguished somehow (She was just a little girl, after all. She wouldn’t know what they are in that case). “ Fancy? ” A laugh came out from the Gerudo. “ Maybe that is a good adjective for them. They can also have pretty colors, but I do not remember if there are orange too. ” She paused for a moment. “ They are different from other fishes, it could be said. These are humanoid and they even have a monarchy. ” Talking about monarchy... she wondered if Mipha was here, too. It wouldn’t be a surprise.

if u could change one thing about botw, what would it be?

even if i think botw is perfect, i still think it has its mistakes. for example, the shrines. they are fun (those from the dlc are even more tho!) but also they get kinda repetitive later. there are even shrines with almost or completely same trials, making them somewhat boring in the end imo
