EXTRA WET is an experiment done during the quarantine and I worked on it as soon as I could. 

The idea was born from my desire to work on photographs experimenting with a more physical and tactile method.

 So I observed how the images - printed on paper - changed according to the material contamination. The instant impression was that the image acquired a new aura, changing its essence. 

When water flows on the paper without corrupting the image, gives it a sense of wetness that clashes with the material component of the paper.

That’s why, me and my stylist RitaMaria, decided to create images related to the sense of wetness, and to exaggerate this feeling through post production. Wet clothes, wet photographs and wet scanner.

The result is a project that experiments photography beyond the limit of digital.

“Into shreds” is a photographic project that is based on the chromatic composition, the harmony of the shapes and the overlap of fabrics.

The compositional harmony and the need for a warm and familiar color temperature makes the photographic project intimate and heartfelt.
