In The 1, after someone stopped showing up for her (fictional or real), she’s “feeling good, [she’s] on some new sh*t, saying yes instead of no,” and allowing herself to move on. This song has breakup vibes (again, fictional or real), but it also has low-key “I forgot that you existed,” vibes of, even though we’re over, I’m not going to let it destroy me. I’ll forget about you.

That’s what we call growth.

So stop saying them, and start appreciating what you are, who you are. Eventually you’ll do it effortlessly.
