"I'm surprised you even showed up," he retorted. He kept his eyes on fixing the tent as he continued. "Usually you're too much of a priss to even step foot in the woods."
They were at opposite ends again with this. Red much rather preferred camping than the last time they hung out at the beach. This was more his kind of thing.
Red was just about done setting everything up when he heard Green's complaints again. This time he stared at him blankly, shoving him his sleeping bag. "It's done. Quit whining so much."
Campfire Song Song || Leaf & Green & Red
Green twitched at Red’s deadpan attitude. He rose an eyebrow and watched the other start at the tent.
"I’m surprised you’re even willing to do any work…" He scoffed. "Usually you’re too lazy to even wake up." He sat down at the logs around the fire pit and sighed. He could tell this trip would already be lame. How could anyone get excited over surviving in the woods with no entertainment? It was boring!
Green grumbled irritably to himself as he ran a hand through his spikey hair. He tapped at his new Xtransceiver he had gotten from his grandfather. Of course there was no signal. He felt a cool breeze blow and he shivered a bit. This was Hell.
"Hey, if you’re going to put up the tent, hurry up. I’m freezing here." He muttered irritably. "I’d like to get in as soon as possible…"

"YESSS!!" Lyra grabbed Red’s hands, practically bouncing. "Yes, yes, yes! Free candy! Free candy! Is Pikachu coming?!"
He nodded. "Of course." He couldn't imagine not having Pikachu tag along. And Pikachu loved Halloween because of the free candy.

Red flicked Green's forehead. "I'm not going to stoop to your level," he said. "Punching you isn't going to solve anything."
He looked so pathetic like this. It was like a whole other side to him. A side Red wasn't used to seeing. And he hated seeing Green like this.
"You maybe an idiot," He started, wiping the tears from Green's cheeks with his thumb. "But at least you're not stupid enough to do that. I'm glad you held back."

"I-I know you’d care! T-That’s why I resisted…" He said in a quiet voice, quivering a bit. "If it wern’t for you being on my mind…I would’ve torn that jackass apart for what he said…" He growled a bit, gritting his teeth yet again.
He calmed himself down again and sighed.”You’re mad at me, arn’t you?” He asked softly, looking down like a child being scolded. He felt yet another wave of guilt wash over him. The last thing he wanted was for Red to be angry at him for something he believed Silver started.
"Look, if you’re mad, punch me." He said bluntly. "I’m an idiot. I deserve the punishment…" He glanced up at Red again "Go for it, I know you want to…"

Red's stare grew, eyes lowering at Green when he looked away to explain himself. Silver and Green never got along, plain and simple. Their fights were even more bitter than his and Green's, but something still didn't add up. Why is Green crying about it now? What did Silver say that got him to react like this?
"I can't stop you when you do, really. It's all up to you." That didn't mean it wouldn't piss him off. "But don't you think I'd care if you did? I don't want you getting hurt." He sighed. "I don't know why you can't understand that..."
He wanted to get angry at him; raise his voice, tell him he's a moron for even bothering with Silver all the time, anything to show it. Instead he watched Green lower his head, telling him only half the story.
What The Fuck Did I Say About Fighting || Red & Green
Green gulped and stayed quiet again. Of course Red could see right through him. He sighed softly. There was no point in hiding it now. He kept his eyes down on the ground, completly avoiding Red’s. He was certainly scared about what his reaction might be.
"…I…" He started and hesitated a bit. He then took another deep breath and exhaled slowly. "…I got into another argument with Silver…B-But before you get really pissed, it wasn’t a fist fight!" He said, holding his hands up defensively. "…Though…I wish it were…"
He looked off to the side a bit and gritted his teeth. He wished he had gotten the oppurtunity to punch Silver, but what would that solve? It certainly would’ve stopped him from saying so many things about him and his family. The thought of his father came back into his mind and he flinched, holding back that choked up feeling once more. “…”

"Something did happen, right?" He wasn't convinced. It was plain as day Green was troubled. "Don't try to hide it, you're a terrible actor." Red's stare was fixed on Green. He didn't need to explain himself. That moron. Who else would he be here for? Changing the subject won't do anything about the tears that are still streaming down Green's cheeks. It made Red all the more persistent in making the other talk. He needed a real answer.
What The Fuck Did I Say About Fighting || Red & Green
"U-Uh…yeah, I guess…" He muttered, scratching the back of his head. He was rather out of it and had trouble registering everything Red was saying. He could feel Red’s stare on him and he stiffened a bit. The last thing he wanted was for Red to get angry at him over the argument.
"…Nothing happened." He answered after a moment’s pause. He looked up at Red and forced a small smile. "…S-See? I’m fine!" He tried to sound convincing for Red, though he knew there was a small chance Red would fall for it. He immedialy tried to change the subject, continuing to wipe his eyes a bit to make sure no tears were coming out.
"So, uh what brings you here? I’m surprised you even came down from the mountain…" He said with a small chuckle, trying to seem as normal as possible.

Red loved the wilderness. Hell, he lives in the wilderness. The atmosphere was so peaceful- the only sounds that can be heard are the faint cries and shaking grass of wild Pokemon that live here. They weren't really a threat as long as they didn't find them to be a threat.
It reminded him of how he used to camp a lot in places like this during his journey.
As soon as Leaf ran off to get the firewood, Red looked around to find a perfect place to settle down. When he did, he kneel down with his backpack in front of him, starting to unpack.
"No."
He unfolded the tent himself, laying it where he wanted it to be. Next were the tent poles, all he had to do was connect them one by one and secure it. This wasn't going to take so long for him. He'll have it done before Leaf gets back.
Campfire Song Song || Leaf & Green & Red
'How did I get dragged into this?' Green thought to himself as he followed Leaf towards the clearing. It was Leaf who decided she wanted to go camping with them, and Green could never find it in him to tell her no. In reality, he didn’t exactly enjoy camping. It was just far too much effort and it was rather boring for him. However, he figured he could manage with Red and Leaf with him.
He stopped when Leaf did and looked around. “…I have to admit, this is pretty nice.” He said with a small smile, setting his bags down. He looked at the scenery and inhaled slowly. He did enjoy the fresh scent of the trees and the relaxing atmosphere. He watched Leaf sit down on the logs and chuckled softly.
His smile then turned to a pout as Leaf gave her commands. “W-Wait what?! Don’t leave us here! I don’t know how to—…and she’s gone…” He let out a heavy sigh and ran his hand through his hair. He then glanced back at Red, raising an eyebrow at him.
"Oi, loser, did you bring the tent?" He asked, now having a bored expression on his face. "I’ll try putting the thing up. You just sit there and look pretty, alright?" He stuffed his hands in his pocket, giving Red a small smirk.

He heard Green's faint voice calling out his name. So he was here after all. It was a good thing he got a hold of him; normally Green would be traveling somewhere since he hated to stay in the gym for so long.
"Who else could it be," he replied as he approached him. "Have you been here this whole time?" Red was expecting Green to know what he meant by that. He wasn't going to readily admit that he's been wondering about it.
Red's stare softened a bit when his eyes met Green's swollen ones. Not only was the gym completely empty and quiet for someone like Green to stick around at, but he looked as if he was crying this whole time. He wasn't going to mention this, it's not like he would get a real answer. It wasn't worth it to. The signals he's picked up was clear enough that something was troubling Green.
He was a bit hesitant on what to say now, thinking for the right words first. Green was sensitive whenever he got like this. Saying something wrong now will only make things worse. "... What happened?" His voice was toning down more than when he first walked in.
What The Fuck Did I Say About Fighting || Red & Green
By now, the gym was empty. Green had dismissed all of his gym trainers for the day for the sake of being alone. It had been a while, maybe a couple hours, since he and Silver had their argument. His words still stuck with Green, reverberating in his head. Would his dad look at him as a disappointment too, just as Gramps did? Would his family be proud of him despite his efforts? Was he really just a failure in their eyes?
He remained quiet as he sat alone in the back of his gym, his head down and slmping foreward. His eyes were red and puffy from crying so much. Why was this bothering him? Normally, he didn’t care. It was something about Silver saying those things that got to him. He sighed softly, a few extra tears falling.
He jumped, however, as he heard a familiar voice. ‘Shit, now he decides to come down?!’ he thought to himself angrily. He bolted up, trying to get himself togather. He knew Red would be pissed at him for getting into yet another argument with Silver.
"R-Red? Is that you?" He called out, yet his voice seemed softer and meeker than his usual cocky and booming voice. He continued to wipe his eyes, not wanting it to be to obvious how he spent the last few hours. "I-I’m over here…"

What The Fuck Did I Say About Fighting || Red & Green
This was odd.
It felt like it's been a while since Green has visited him that he almost missed having him rant and rave about how it's not safe to live on a frozen top mountain. He wasn't sure if this was one of his (many) attempts to pry him off Mt. Silver once and for all--
But if it was, it was working. It bothered him. He wasn't used to not seeing Green on a daily basis. He had to see him today.
Assuming he was still in Viridian, Red decided to make the effort to see him there. As soon as he flew down in front of the gym's entrance with Charizard, he called him back to his Pokeball. Luckily the weather wasn't so bad to travel today.
Since the doors were unlocked, Red allowed himself in the gym as he called out, "Green? Are you here?" His voice was dry, not at all showing he was actually worried for where he might be. He wasn't sure where else to look first.
