It’s that time of year again, everyone! Plans are underway for yet another independent, fan-run event celebrating the relationship between Maka and Crona.
Yes, that’s right, CroMa Week 2020 will be held from June 21st to June 27th this year!
Like last year, I’ll be hosting CroMa Week on two different platforms, Tumblr and DeviantART!
The Tumblr submissions will be reblogged to my official CroMa Week Tumblr (as long as they follow the rules), while I will create a separate Favorites collection on DeviantART that I may link to at the end of the event
The themes this time are:
June 21: Corners
June 22: Hold me, hold you
June 23: Expression
June 24: Flight
June 25: Classwork
June 26: Loyalty
June 27: To Care
Rules:
-Keep it PG, no exceptions. No violence, gore/death**, or “adult” / N S F W content allowed.
-Keep Crona gender-neutral in your submissions. I will not be offering any exception to this rule, as it was how they were portrayed in canon. If Ohkubo could do it, you can too.
-Even though this is primarily a shipping week, platonic submissions are allowed. But if you choose to make platonic submissions, you can’t have either Crona or Maka shipped with another character in the submission.
-Any medium of fanwork, traditional or digital, is acceptable! Drawing, painting, fic, collage, edits, sculptures, any combination of these things, or more, you can be as creative as you want!
-@ TheApatheticKat or use the #cromaweek2020 tag (you can add spaces on Tumblr, but keep it the one solid word on DeviantART) for your submissions!
-Please try to do as much of the week as you can (it’s only 7 prompts, and you’re allowed to work before the event to get your submissions ready. But if you can’t finish them all, whatever you’ve got up until that point is still good!)
-You can interpret prompts as loosely as you wish, and even combine multiple prompts to create a little story/art series if you’d like. The prompts are meant to inspire, not restrict.
-And most importantly, have fun creating and submitting!
*Note to DA submitters: I will be linking the collection only, unless you have your submissions also posted on Tumblr. If that is the case, then reblogging the Tumblr submission will take precedence as it is the main platform of the event. I will not repost any submissions to any platform without written permission from the submission’s original creator.
**You are allowed to make passing references to deaths that have occured in SE canon, but other than that, there are no exceptions to that rule.
