It is a busy time , changes are happening , ideas taking shape.
The raised beds are made ,the soil is being moved and the ground leveled .
Plants a blooming , surprising me , I had forgotten how lovely they are.
I like the idea of the refreshment bar .
The baking tray being used to mark out the ground is cool.
The peach tree in the tunnel has not put out any leaves, I think it may be dead

I love those shapes on the soil, super work . And the new raised beds are beautiful. Shame about the peach. C
Perhaps the refreshment bar could be where we store our elderberry tonics and apple juice....

A photo from 8 years ago, I have learned so much since then.
Back then I would have admired this lovely weed free veg garden, now I seen it as an open wound that is devoid of life.

Two more trees planted, the staff had asked me to plant these tree, they wanted to shade the patio outside the Blue Door Hub.
We plan on putting a time capsule underneath each tree, more photos to follow

I am delighted with these tulips. I bought them last August and I not get them planted in the ground as planned. So I potted them up into 2.5lt pots in October.
They grew fairly well and were pot bound by February. I planted them out under the Cotinus bush near the Bungalow. They look wonderful, the staff said they can see them from their kitchen window which has brightened their view.
The staff have reminded me that their view of the garden from in side the house is very different than mine outside in the garden.
Their viewing point needs to be taken in to account when planting up their garden.

Spring in the lovely Glasnevin Botanic Gardens and thinking about all the ways to make vegetable beds that I have been learning about on the Polytunnel course. Fun to experiment
