it honestly feels like it’s been forever since i last journaled like this. ella said i should, so i have something to look back on in a few years… so here i am, i guess.

my 20th birthday’s tomorrow. how is that even real? twenty. i don’t know if i’m ready for it. i feel like i haven’t done as much as other people my age, you know? not that i’ve failed or anything, i just… wish i’d done more. maybe i am falling behind.

future me, just so you know, i’m still a mess. my love life is nonexistent. i still can’t tell the time unless it’s digital. i still have no clue how to put a fitted sheet on my bed, and my room’s constantly bouncing between semi-tidy and completely trashed.

i think i like someone. i know, it makes me sound like a lovesick teenager, but it’s true. you always hear about people meeting their soulmate and you think, “oh bullshit.” but i seriously think i’ve met mine. robert keating. he’s literally everything i could want in a guy and more. i didn’t even think people like him existed. i’m never telling anyone though, not lottie, not hiro, not soren. i have zero plans to do anything about it, and i think i’m okay with that. oh, and i still can’t read an analogue clock. whoever invented them should be personally escorted to hell.

tomorrow we’re back in the uk for a bit. i’ll get to see my family, aimee and ella, sparky and bowie. apparently the inhaler lads are coming too. mikey let slip that he and eli are planning something, so i’m expecting great things.

anyway, that’s all for now. hopefully future me can read an analogue clock.
