Okay so the design style differences between 079 and Gquuuuuux being like an actual canonical timeline difference and not just a stylistic choice by the creators is really funny because it implies that, beyond being motivated by trying to save Char, Lalah Sune was being at least a little bit of a mecha design pervert.

just found out in medieval france, having a lion on your coat of arms was so prevalent that there was literally a colloquial proverb to clown on knights for being basic and not having a real coat of arms. the hate game was so strong back then. imagine medieval hate anons

I enjoy the brazenness and lack of subtlety of GQuuuuuux's writers pulling a meta-narrative of "The world of GQuuuuuux is struggling to not get cannibalized by the franchise's own legacy," and choosing to present that by literally having a self-proclaimed world ender summon the RX-79-2 in its original design.

Edit: All while Beyond The Time plays at a time where GQuuuuuux’s usual ED would, thus canceling out the ED’s existence!
