I just started some iron gall ink.

It was bizarre how fast the color change happened.

You wouldn't expect that adding water to some green crystalline powder and crushed up oak galls would cause it to immediately turn blueish black.

I don't know how much of this I'll actually use considering that it eats through the paper eventually, but I wanted to make some nonetheless.

Baroque is a game that I think suffered because of when it was released.

I feel like if it had been released sometime in the past five or so years, people would've loved it.

People want weird games now, now that pretty much all AAA games are extremely generic and overly safe to the point of being boring.

I saw a massive ginkgo earlier. There were seedlings scattered all through the grass around it, so I guess it's a female.

Ginkgo biloba are such strange trees. Most tree species are monoecious (meaning they have both reproductive structures on the same individual), but ginkgos are dioecious with each individual only ever making either pollen or ovules. Another bizarre thing about them is that the sperm from the pollen is motile and actually swims. You don't really think of plants as beings capable of locomotion, but some parts of some plants do actually move.
