it makes me laugh every time when ppl are surprised to learn that horror movies turn me on. like dude its not uncommon, try to love horror for what it is!

i think it upsets me more than it should when somebody asks for an unpopular opinion and someone says a very popular opinion. this is very prevalent in horror spaces, mostly with terrifier. not liking the terrifier movies is not an unpopular opinion. it isn't. and it doesn't make you heightened and different to dislike these movies just because they—mostly—don't have a plot. sometimes, i just wanna throw on a movie and not have to think over every little detail to be able to understand it. i LOVE a good psych horror movie, i do. but i usually don't want to have to think if i'm just trying to watch a movie and have some fun. i feel like actually liking the terrifier movies is starting to become the unpopular opinion. and, no, not everyone who likes the movies is misogynistic and hates women. im a lesbian. im a woman who loves other women. and, ykw?? i like the terrifier movies because they turn me on. i said it. i get off to the terrifier trilogy. it's good shit. fuck you guys.
