Garden Furniture That’s Not Going Out of Fashion
Like any other industry, the garden furniture world has trends that come and go, however they tend to change less quickly than the fashion industry, for example. Here, we’ve revealed the top garden furniture trends that are here to stay – for a while at least!
As people tend to spend a lot of money on garden furniture, it can be most upsetting if something suddenly goes out of fashion. It can mean that you can no longer find matching items, or that you simply just want the new “in thing” but can’t justify replacing your other furniture yet. So, before you go spending big money on furniture this year, pay attention to the trends we think are going to be sticking around a while.

Julie’s bedroom and Jess’ entry are perfect examples. Both spaces called for something a bit larger, but a big piece of art in either of these spots would have overwhelmed that room and fallen a bit flat. Sure, these mirrors are bouncing light around — both are across from windows — but more importantly, they’re also sculptural and interesting. IT’S BETTER THAN ART, Y’ALL. And you know what else? Both these mirrors will continue to look good, wherever they are placed, FOREVER.
Hopefully, the answer is yes because I’ve rounded up a ton of our new favorite wall, floor, and mantel mirrors. We have ones for every budget and price point so you’re guaranteed to find something that works for your space! I looked at about one million mirrors for this post (and then Jess helped me vet about a million more), so I can pretty definitively say that this is the best roundup of good-looking mirrors for good-looking people out there.

Oval body shapes are one of the most common figures around. If you think you might have an oval or apple shaped figure, you’re not alone! There are millions of women around the world with a similar shape to yours. That means there is plenty of styles out there to make you look and feel great, ensuring that you find the right styles and fits to suit your figure.
Dressing to suit your shape simply means finding cuts of clothes that highlight your best features. There are some styles that work better for certain shapes. If you’ve ever tried on a piece of clothing that just doesn’t look right, it could be because the shape or fit isn’t flattering your best assets. To help you find the clothes that make you feel the most confident, we’re sharing our advice on how to dress an oval body shape.
What is an oval body shape? Before we get started, it’s important to understand what an oval body shape is. Generally speaking, oval figures are widest around the middle. You might notice that you also have the following features of slender legs, a large bust and narrower hips. The key to dressing for an Oval body type is to create a defined waist. When choosing clothes, silhouettes that define your waist can be a great option, as they help to create shapes and lines.

Hope everyone is having an amazing holidays with friends and family! Santa brought me the flu this year for Christmas so I have been home in bed drowning myself with tea and vitamin C. Before I got sick, I put together this look with Lookmatic to share more holiday dressing with you. I have been gravitating to leathers and blacks but wanted to add a little festive spin to these basics. I paired this plaid top and bright purple shoes for a fun pop of color. I mean, what is sexier for a holiday party than a sky high purple heel? I rest my case. As we are moving toward the New Year, I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your continued support, love, interaction and excitement for the things I do here on the blog. It’s truly a labor of love and I am so happy to be able to share it with all of you.

A new day means new adventures on the horizon and I am so excited you guys! On Monday I’m going to be flying out to California for the first time—LA and Coachella are calling my name! At first I had a few reservations about going to Los Angeles because I’d heard mixed reviews from friends who had been before. But then I figured it would be better to experience the city and culture first hand because I think the key to really enjoying yourself anywhere is knowing where to go.

5 Trends to Watch in Outdoor Furniture and Decor
Carry your outdoor style into the next decade with these 2020 trends.
Trend #1: The Outdoor Room
Yes, your home has room to grow. How can homeowners gain a spacious addition without spending a penny on construction? By embracing outdoor space as an extension of indoor square footage. You heard it here first, friends: the outdoors are the new indoors.
Trend #2: Everyday Luxury
It’s been said that time is life’s only true luxury. (Throw in a glass of champagne, and we’ll gladly agree.) Current outdoor trends underscore this ‘buy-less, enjoy-more’ mentality, as more households opt for casual collections that blend modern technology with timeless styling.
Trend #3: Inspired by Travel
Jetsetters take note––one of 2020’s hottest outdoor trends is influenced by travel. With affordable airfare, social media and the rise of remote work, city-hopping has never been more popular. But travel-inspired outdoor style isn’t just for globetrotters! The best spaces can transport you.
Trend #4: Outdoor Accessories Upgrade
Express yourself! It’s never been easier to find outdoor accessories with personality. If your outdoor style is a little bland, why not resolve to spice things up in 2020? Add unique outdoor accents like poufs, lanterns, dishware, occasional seating and performance pillows into the mix.
Trend #5: World of Wellness
From juice cleanses to spin classes, there are a million-and-one ways to get healthy in 2020. Call us old-fashioned, but we prefer to unwind with all-natural remedies––fresh air, sunshine and saltwater. This year, get outside with outdoor living trends that complement your self-care ritual.

I have been in a major sunglasses funk lately. It might sound weird, but a fresh pair of sunglasses can change the game. They are hands down one of my most-worn accessories and always make an outfit feel more put together. I’ve had a few more closet additions this summer, but they always hit differently with a new pair of sunglasses, so that’s what I’ve been on the hunt for recently! I just got this pair and it’s really different from what I’ve been wearing lately. I love the delicate frames to make any outfit feel more dressed up. They are the perfect pair to go from day to night, whether you have to had into work for meetings, are heading to the pool, or heading out for date night. Also got these cat eye frames and this pair recently and love!

Good morning from our hotel room in New York sweet people. As always, we are staying in SoHo, one of my favorite places in Manhattan. Obviously we are here for NYFW where we will attend a few great shows, but also do two big shoots: one for my favorite online magazine and a very special one for another magazine (be prepared to see me from a different perspective). Before I assembled my Fashion Week looks, which are usually made up of more statement pieces, I decided to stick with casual looks for my last few days at home. You know those days where you dig through everything in your closet and think ‘I have absolutely nothing to wear’? Well, those days happen to me more often than you’d think, especially when I’m pressed for time and want to get ready quickly, but without the hassle. Thank goodness there is one item that never fails to elevate my style game, no matter the occasion: my leather trousers. They are my knight in fashion armour!

My in-flight uniform involves: a hat (because they’re impossible to pack), oversized sunglasses (since poor-clogging makeup is verboten on planes), a massive scarf (it does double-duty as a blanket once you’re on board), a blazer (so you look professional upon landing), a silk button-down (so you feel like you’re actually wearing pajamas), drapey harem pants (again, looks fancy, feels like pj’s), and slip-on spanish mules (super easy at security). I carry on a backpack (hands-free!) and check a big aluminum suitcase (which gets a new sticker from every city I visit).

Every time I drive to Malibu, I find time to pull off to the side of the road and take in the beautiful views. These views are why we live here and I NEVER take them for granted. I am excited to be spending a little staycation in LA with my boo this weekend.

Ciao people! Have been loving reading all of your great feedback on yesterday’s post. So glad to see each time that so many of you actually do read the posts, it makes me so happy. I’ve been watching lately so many fashion documentaries, interviews, movies and have been feeling so tremendously inspired. New questions keep popping in my head as much as new ideas. My vision of style is forever evolving and keeping a curious mind and heart are at the very root of this creative pursuit. I can’t believe it is already November and thus, almost the end of the year. Although we’re not there yet, I have to say, I’m still pinching myself looking back at everything that has happened… Truly so much. This year’s recap is going to be ma-jor guys. And there’s still quite a lot to come before properly wrapping it up. So watch out.

During the summer, your garden becomes an extra room where you can relax, dine or entertain. And, just like your home, your garden has a character of its own, so it’s important to pick pieces that suit the space available. When it comes to choosing garden furniture, even the smallest outdoor oasis is worthy of some stylish furnishings. From a balcony in the city to a pristine lawn in the suburbs, we take you on a tour of British homes and gardens to help you find garden furniture that fits.
What garden furniture will fit on a balcony?
Living in the city centre, with all its perks, often means compromising on your outdoor space. However, if you are lucky enough to live in flat with a balcony or terrace, it’s important to make the most of it. Stackable or foldable garden furniture is a clever solution for your spacial shortcomings: a metal table and chair set for two will fit even the most petite of balconies, whilst an outdoor dining set where the chairs can be nested underneath the table is a good investment for a larger roof terrace.
If there’s no space for a dining table and chairs, then a comfortable armchair (or two) paired with a side table, is a must. With smaller balconies or roof terraces, it’s the accessories that take it to another level.
