Remember the concept I mentioned yesterday about Hershel and Phoenix being able to read each other's thoughts? Well, here it is. I hope you enjoy. :)

For a LayWright concept, I imagine that at some point, while Hershel and Phoenix are in Labyrinthia with Maya and Luke, they somehow are able to read each other's thoughts. It's not exactly an indication of soulmates but sort of like a secret thing that couples develop by doing a specific thing in Labyrinthia. These two just happened to accidentally come across it and soon gain this temporary ability, though no one else can hear their thoughts but the other person.

Like Hershel and Luke would be on their way to see the Storyteller and the Professor hears a thought from Phoenix's mind, turning around to see if maybe Phoenix must have said something but sees that he's not there. With the same thing happening while Phoenix and Maya are visiting Newton Belduke's home.

In a way, I can also see this going to turn into a slightly psychological horror as either one of them would probably be why they're hearing the other's voice when they're not in the same room. With Maya and Luke questioning them why they're acting funny.

Before eventually starting to figure out this ability and use it to communicate with each other, and even hearing what the other thinks of them.

Now I'm just imagining this either happening during the events of PL vs AA or Unwound Future. Or it could be a different story entirely where Hershel and Phoenix are on another different adventure.

Both Layton and Phoenix have had people pose as them. I was thinking about what situation they'd have to be in for Layton to put a sword to Phoenix's throat and thought yeah, maybe he was possessed or something but then I realised they both had impostors at some point and just my brain froze

I decided to create some new spells for the Grand Grimoire from Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney. An example from this magical tome would be Ignaize, which pretty much sets someone on fire in a one meter radius from the caster.

Spell One

Venuid

Venuid is a spell that's used to poison various liquids that the castor can see from two feet away. The gem used is supposed to resemble the spilled contents of a drink. Presumably, after the victim has taken a sip from the poisoned drink. This poison spell has random effects, ranging from hallucinations, nausea, throat pain, headache, dialated pupils, or rarely no symptoms. Another danger is that the victim isn't aware their drink isn't poisoned until it's too late. Something that the inquisition has taken notes of. The name of the spell comes from 'Venom' and 'Fluid.

Spell Two

Lethice

Lethice allows the castor to slice someone fatally with an invisible cut from ten feet away, as if being sliced by a sword. The gem resembles the tip part of a blade. The Inquisition and any of the knights are unsure as to why the gem is a pinkish reddish color, with some believing to resemble blood in some way. The name of the cut spell comes from 'Lethal' and 'Slice'.

Spell Three

Reserdaver

Reserdaver allows the castor to bring a dead body back to life. Though this only works at nighttime, and the deceased individual will then return to its dead state when the sun has fully risen above the horizon. The gem is based on tombstone. Some of the knights had reported that this is a rare spell that they encountered. Having seen the witch in the middle of a cemetery bringing back a dead couple back to life before taking her away. The next day, they found the deceased couple in front of a home belonging to a blacksmith. The name is a combination of the words 'Resurrection' and 'Cadaver' (another word for corpse).

Spell Four

Devros

The spell Devros is able to make two people fall in love with the castor's own choice. If the spell only hits one person, then nothing happens and can only work if it hits two people. The gem used for the spell resembles an arrow shape. Knights have reported that people suddenly began falling in love with random people out of nowhere during a goat competition, and when they managed to capture the witch responsible, she had this to say. "I thought it would be funny." The name is a combination of the words 'Devotion' and 'Eros'.

Spell Five

Anitter

The spell Anitter allows the castor to turn someone into an animal, though only sheep, dogs, and cats. The spell is also temporary, and the person affected by this spell will turn back after a full day has passed. The gem used is based on the shape of a paw print. Knights have noticed during patrol how people would suddenly turn into dogs and cats, finding it difficult to try and ask the victims what had happened to them due to being in animal form. After a day had passed, they were able to get the information they needed to capture the witch. The name is a combination of the words 'Animal' and 'Critter'.

Spell Six

Glacill

Glacill is a spell used by the castor to freeze a person completely or certain parts of their body. The only way for a person who is frozen completely to thaw out before freezing to death is to place hot coals at the base of the ice they're in. The gem resembles a shard of ice. A knight was almost killed by this spell before the other knights placed a bunch of hot coals around him, which then resulted in the knight who had been trapped to have his feet burned due to the large amount of hot coals used. The name is a combination of 'Glacier' and 'Chill'.

Puzzle No. 50 : Tight Squeeze

A bit of a part four of creating Professor Layton and Ace Attorney characters and putting them in Miitopia. I plan on continuing to do this until I reach 100 party members (which is the maximum number I can get). Also, for Franziska, I had to give her the Imp class as there really wasn't any class that allowed her to use whips.

Klavier Gavin: His class is the princess. While a pop star would have fit as well, I decided to go with the princess instead. (Also, don't mind him laying in bed, he's currently sick when I took this photo.)

Franziska Von Karma: Her class is the Imp. Despite the lack of a whip, I feel like her personality goes along well with it. Though definitely not as demonic as her father was.

Desmond Sycamore: His class is the Vampire. Mostly due to the clothes vampires have and how there is a mask variant of the weapon. If you know, you know.

Aurora: Her class is a Cleric. Somehow I felt the cleric was more fitting for her as I can see her possibly wanting to heal her friends. She doesn't have a best friend yet though I do plan on giving her one in the future. :)

Hello all! Laywright week be upon ye! I know we said it would be July this year but it had to be pushed back for personal drama and because I want all of you to have enough time to prepare. I managed to get the last of the three party members, and with a couple of them, I had to think about which class would fit them. Especially with Alfendi, as I couldn't decide whether or not he should be a tank or vampire before finally deciding to stick with a tank, and I wasn't even sure what personality I should give him given how he has a split personality. Long story short, I think I might have found a way to make it work. I gave him a laid-back personality, and while it doesn't best represent his original personality, the fact that as a tank he uses his friends as ammo while using a certain skill is hilarious.

Flora Reinhold: Flower (Mostly based on her name, I thought about giving her an elf class but I learned you can't unlock it until beating the game. Plus one thing I didn't mention is that at a couple points, Hershel had to change classes from warrior, to cleric, and then to princess.)

Alfendi Layton: (Reason why is directly above, plus the weapon used are shells.)

Katrielle Layton: Cat (more so in reference to a shortened version of her name)

Finally got to the part where I get more party members for the group in Miitopia. Here they are. :)

Trucy: Imp (trying not to have everyone have the same class, plus it's still magic and involves a skill where her weapon goes into warp to attack the enemy)

Apollo: Thief (mostly based on the description used where it mentions how thieves can confound enemies, reminded me of how he could potentially confuse witnesses when finding out what hidden ticks from them with his bracelet)

Athena: Scientist (in the game it's more of chemical Scientist rather than a social science like psychology, thought it would be more fitting for her)

Recently just got Miitopia and decided to cast some Professor Layton and Ace Attorney characters as party members. Here's who I have so far as well as their classes. :)

Hershel Layton: Warrior (fencing skills)

Phoenix Wright: Wizard (You know how wizards usually announce their spells? Kind of like how Phoenix yells out objections.)

Maya Fey: Pop star (Cheers them on in battle!)

Luke Triton: Chef (The only beginning class that I thought would fit him. 😅)

Already I plan on including Trucy, Apollo, Athena, Flora, Alfendi, and Katrielle as the other party members. Will include them in another post once I get them. :)

As a bonus, here's the horse I have named Majesty. Mostly based on the horse Hershel rides on in Miracle Mask.
