WEEK 2 UPDATE!!

First of all, Facebook was unable to confirm my identity and removed me until they can confirm that I am in fact, Jared Tetro’s father. So in the meantime, I’ve ask Dorn to post these updates.

Speaking of Dorn, everybody owes this guy for taking like 2,000 pictures a week and putting together a gmot with literally no input from any teams. EVER. Somebody take care of this guy at the bar and show him some appreciation.

Anyway, on to the Week 2 Power Rankings...

#1 Team Ever – they have one less win than the #2 and #3 teams, but they’ve also played one less game. Until somebody beats them, they’re keeping that #1 spot. Plus I saw their girl catcher making some ridiculous kick outs last week (including kicking out James Christmas), very Ladybug’s-ish!

#2 Team Greg – despite one half of their dynamic duo reverse dieting and “losing a step” (or ten) his name is still enough to intimidate people and these guys are 3-0 and word on the street is that they are really gelling and coming together as a team. Bumpus – way to have ONE JOB, and actually do it this week (unlike last week when you fouled out).

#3 Blue Balls – these guys are also 3-0 and may have found a pitcher (Not that it really matters when they have Corey playing the entire infield). They haven’t really been challenged yet so it’ll very interesting to see where this team ends up next week when they have a double header against the top two teams.

#4 Kickball Busters – their old buddy Eric finally decided to come out of retirement and looked like he hadn’t lost a step. Once this whole team shows up for a game, look for them to start getting some wins.

#5 YPMMKH – Ok, this is not a new team – they just changed their name. And they are getting better. Their pitcher has been throwing some heat. If they could put the drinks down just long enough to pick up some strategy from the other teams, they’d probably be good. Either way, this team seems to find a way to win at the bar every week.

#6 #Boot(nobody's)a$$ - They’ve had the toughest schedule so far, and usually field more girls than guys…but come on, how many more times do we have to hear “Mallory would’ve had it”, before Mallory actually has it and you guys win some games! PS, nice slide home, Mark – you were totally safe!

In other news, did anybody else think it was weird that it was NFL week – when NFL actually starts next Thursday? Also what was the bar game, did we even social?

In other other news, I overheard some chatter from one team about how “bunting is for (basic) b!tches. And how are teams having fun when they bunt?” You know what’s fun, winning…give it a try =)

But for real, no need for anybody out there getting upset over kickball. Can’t we all just get along?!?

WAKA Dominion Preseason Rankings

1.) Team Ever

Pros: With the Godfather of Kickball, the future Mrs. Kickball and a couple of other wily veterans, this team will find a way to win games.

Cons: Their average age is 47 and I don't see a ton of speed on their roster.

2.) Team Greg

This team probably has the strongest overall group of girls. Hopefully these girls can play multiple positions, because out of the 8 guys they have - 3 are catchers and 2 are pitchers.

3.) Team Paul

Corey has enough speed for the whole team, and there is some solid offense behind him - but their captain fell asleep in the draft and forgot to pick up a pitcher. We'll see if somebody else can step up and fill that spot.

4.) Kickball Busters

A team full of veteran players who know the game well. They get the slight edge over #BootDatA$$ since they beat them in playoffs last season. Can they take a break from watching each others kids on the sidelines to beat out some of the draft teams this season??

5.) #BootDatA$$

This team had a lot of potential last season. However, injuries, karate tournaments, and their pitcher not showing up to a single game didn't treat them well. If they get their act together this season look for this team to move up the rankings.

6.) Your Pitch Makes...

I have no idea who this is. Look for them at the bar!
