Andrei Maga : Profile

Character Name: Andrei Maga // “Baby” Age: 19-20 Canon: Tokyo Ghoul: Re [ FAN CHARACTER/ OC ] Canon Point: Post-series

Sex/gender: Cis-male, will use any pronoun (he addresses himself with he/him pronouns). Species: Ghoul Type: Dual type Ukaku-bikaku. Dragon tail and wing. Name: Baby / Zori / Amur Mask: Dragon-looking (As Baby or Amur), White Cat (as Zori)

History/background: Full Ghoul, 100% natural born of two ghoul parents who resided in Europe. They were nomads, travelling along with groups of (human) people and in each place they visited, they'd attack humans in that area for sustenance. Eventually, a pattern was noticed by the authorities hunting ghouls and they were captured.

Baby managed to escape thanks to the nomad group protecting him. He lived the rest of his childhood with humans of the group and was raised by them. They helped him to cover up his -aha- eating habits and fed him whenever he became too hungry to handle.

Unfortunately, they also tried to insist on feeding him human food, believing if he just ate enough of it, he'd eventually change his feeding habits. This never happened, of course, but led him to become obsessed with the act of eating, and he often over-eats. Baby always feels like he has to be chewing on something, and watching other people eat (ghouls and otherwise) is a bit of an obsession of his. There is a lot to unpack about this, but I'm moving on!

He also grew up obsessed with computers and technology and eventually came to learn how to use it. He is a hacker yes, because I can no matter how overused this trope is. He used his skills to help his family with money affairs and keep himself fed - ran illegal websites, and went around the deep web as an "assassin" for hire (in the sense that people would pay him to eat specific targets). His name on the deepweb is "Baby", hence why he is addressed as such throughout this profile.

After Tokyo Ghoul:Re events in Japan (hell yes, he is a canon insert) and the dragon and how humans and ghouls are now working together, he figures it's best to live somewhere where you won't be hunted for being a ghoul - so he moved to japan.

Baby is freshly arrived. Despite moving to Japan to live a more honest life, he ends up just falling back into his bad habits: cybercrime and assassin/glutton for hire and fails to move away from the cycle of crime and violence he claims to want to escape. If asked, he says he is trying to find his footing first and will leave the life of crime soon!!! he promises!!!!!!!

In order to establish himself in Tokyo and not be found by Tokyo Security Committee, Baby decided to create two personas: Zori, a "feminine" representation and the ukaku wielder, and Amurg, a "masculine" representation and the bikaku wielder. Each persona lives in different wards and it's clear both personas are gluttons and criminals; Zori does not brave into TSC areas and keeps distance while using other ghouls to do Zori's bidding, and Amur tends to be bolder and proactive and lives closer to TSC building, which has led to TSC to notice something is up with this ghoul.

Baby will later on learn to eat ghouls, as well Dragon orphans. He will develop a kakuja too. BUT THAT'S FOR THE FUTURE.

Personas: Baby has two types of kagune and can bring one type out on its own, thus people don't know he is a dual wielder. For this reason, he made up a persona for each kagune type: Zori, a "feminine" representation and the ukaku wielder, and Amurg, a "masculine" representation and the bikaku wielder. Baby will dress up as a woman whenever he becomes Zori, each representation has its own territory and they never ever acknowledge the existence of one another, as if they are complete strangers to one another. Zori and Amurs 's territories never overlap in any matter, and neither are close to one another - he keeps an eye on them through security cameras that he hacks or even installs himself.

Zori has a small group of ghouls who follow orders (about 5 of them) and reside in Baby's territory. Most people address Zori as "she/her" although they are aware Zori smells of a male ghoul. Baby never corrects anyone on the use of pronouns by the way, and if asked he will tell them to use "they/them".

Amur's territory is the largest and also the closest to Tokyo Security Committee, to keep an eye on them. Amur's reputation is still growing, but TSC has already noticed Amur is here to cause some trouble for sure. He has no followers/helpers/group, but those who meet Amur would never meet Zori, Baby makes sure of that.

Baby and gender are kind of special, as you may have noticed.

Personality: Bold, stubborn, distrustful, skittish, hard to trust others, cautious, slightly sarcastic, easy to irritate, but surprisingly understanding at the same time. Intelligent, resourceful, and adaptable. As Zori, seems a lot softer and easier to talk to. As Amur, seems a lot more aggressive and bitter. Without a persona, Andrei is often quiet, tries not to bring too much attention to himself, and hardly shows himself and what he is thinking.

He is a glutton obsessed with the act of eating and will watch others and himself eat (with a mirror, yep).
