Nope, but he kinda sorta accepts Geet as his wife after he is shown a video of their marriage (though he thinks it’s fake at first) and then falls in love with her again quicker than he did the first time.

Why is Maan's house diff everytym ? Like arnd Dec,10 the house was diff, & aft Maan's memory loss the hse was diff again. Did anyth hppn that they had to change house? I don't watch the full epis as I don't understand hindi only the scenes tho.

If you’re referring to what I think you might be referring to, there was a segment of the series that occurred in the “outhouse” (which is essentially an entire house probably designed for hired help in which Maan is staying for some reason). I believe the story goes that Maan fired Geet in a fit of rage (surprise, surprise) and then Maan’s grandmother hired Geet unbeknownst to Maan and what followed was a series of episodes  where Maan and Geet’s interactions occurred in the outhouse. Later in the series there is a house that has a sort of sweeping staircase; this is the main Khurana House where Dadi spends her days. The main house is also where the majority of the post-Memory loss track occurs.

I don't know about you but as person who liked Drashti, I was disappointed to see her play a character like Madhubala who took crap from the male lead when she played such badass characters like Geet or even Muskaan Chaddha from Dill Mill Gayye (this character made me like her) who didn't take crap from their boyfriend/husband but rather beat the crap out of them with Geet slapping Maan and Muskaan always abused Rahul verbally as well as kicking him a lot. Your take?

First, I want to apologize for taking so long to answer. I was actually out of the country from December to March!

I stopped watching Madhubala about 2 months in for that exact reason. I feel like her character started out really strong (remember her very first appearance/intro in the show? with the muggers? yeah, that was awesome.) I could see that her character was going to take a steep decline and as it is rare for a once strong character who has been weakened to regain his/her strength in these shows, I didn’t bother. In other words, I can understand your disappointment.

In Drashti’s defense, I imagine it is quite hard to predict how much a show/character will change from the initial idea, especially for these daily serials. She may have walked in thinking that her character was going to be as strong if not stronger than those she has played in the past. At the end of the day, there is only so much you can do as an actor when the writers/production heads are more concerned about ratings than the integrity of the characters.

Now that I think about it, I think Geet had the best run of the 4 Lions shows. The storyline was good for the most part, minus the couples problems and some aspects of Amristar track. It was pretty consistent as well and each time we kinda saw a different side of each character. Your take?

I agree, I think 4 lions messed up because they decided to make shows where the characters/relationships are way too similar.

Lol I was looking back at your old posts and I completely agree with what you said about Maan never wearing full sleeves!! I mean his arms were great but justt once a long sleve shirt would have been nice!! Like all the way to his wrists not his elbows!! When I used to watch the show on TV back in 2010 my dad hated watching Maan! He was always saying "Why does this guy wear such tight shirts!!"

Yay! I'm so happy you don't mind!! But yeah I loved the Maan-Geet relationship, also Arnav-Khushi! I've heard of the show Kitani Mohabbat Hai..which has the rich jerk and bholi girl plot line so I think after finishing Geet, I'll watch that!

That works! Also, in my previous post, I mentioned RR...in that one the male protagonist isn't super rich but he does have a callous personality/exterior.

I have actually watched IPKKND! I absolutely loved it! Then again it went kinda downhill with the Sheetal plotline! The shows I've watched are: Miley Jab Hum Tum, Dill Mill Gayye, Geet, IPKKND, EHMMBH, and currently I'm watching Kumkum Bhagya! As cliche as it is, I'm really into the rich jerk falling in love with the bholi village girl thing! I know everybody hates that but I can't help it!

Hahaha, hmm, you're ahead of me then! I haven't watched all of those :D Hmm, Rangrasiya with Sanaya Irani and Ashish Sharma? It kinda had a short run and it got super depressing before it started going downhill but I really enjoyed the beginning!

I'm so sorry I feel like I'm pouring this all out but I miss discussing with my friends! I had one friend in high school who used to watch all my dramas with me and then we'd discuss them! After a while, we both gave up on Indian Dramas so we didn't discuss them anymore! Now I restarted watching them but she's super busy in Nursing School to start watching shows...I feel like I should be super busy in school too..haha

No worries! Don't apologize! I completely understand! Getting to discuss/vent about your favorite shows is part of the fun of watching them! That's why fandoms are fandoms! :D

Yeah I see the two Devs as two different characters as well! But *sigh* I hate when good shows go downhill :( Actually another thing that bothers me about Indian dramas is how they just make characters disappear without proper closure! Even if they are characters I don't like! For example Sasha, Tasha, Romeo, Arjun, Annie, and I guess Dadimaa if she doesn't come back!

So true! That's actually really quite common. The loose ends aren't usually tied, just kind of thrown together at the end for a rushed closure.

Yeah I'm just skipping the annoying parts now! Just watching Maneet scenes! I really hope Dadimaa comes back just as closure!! I'm on episode 430 right now so I think I'll be done with the show by tomorrow...which sounds crazy but I'm seriously crazy forwarding right now! I recently finished Miley Jab Hum Tum and I was having withdrawals from that so I started Geet! Is there another show you can recommend? Winter break is here and now I have an excuse to waste time hehe

I know I should just keep watching but I'm too impatient! Does Dadimaa come back?? I'm at the part where Maan and Geet are pulled into the fights of Dev-Nandini and Lucky-Preeto and are forced to choose sides..Dadimaa is not at the house right now cause shes in Haridwar or something..I know at this time she was also playing the grandmother in Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai

Ahh, yes. That nonsense goes on for awhile. I can't remember if Dadimaa comes back, but if she does, its not for anything significant, unfortunately.
