my phone is turning 5 years old this summer and it's still so dependable even though i don't charge it that often and it was one of my principal sources of internet for a whole year when i lived in a place without wi-fi and in general it's always gotten a lot of use and people on reddit seem to expect a phone to only last 2-4 years but it's still going strong... but its case is falling apart and as i look for a new one i have to ask myself how long i really think it'll be in use
