Finished some hats for the chilly season. Wanted to do more colors and sizes for any occasion.

Finished my latest big project. A pillow!

I love the color pattern that I picked out. Really simple and easy to switch around. Wish I made the black ends a bit longer but it's fine. Made the mistake of not declumping the poly-fill I used. So it is lumpy in areas. But I'm not at all upset as this pillow will be used in my bedroom to sit up on my bed to watch TV. And so far it's doing a fine job at that.

Just finished up this wonderful hat. First serious color work project. Really love how it turned out. Though I wish I could have continued the color work to the end but I was too scared that I would mess up the pattern so I ended it with just green instead.

honestly yeah, fiber arts is magic. you cast spell of warm gloves, spell of nice hat, spell of stuffed animal.

material component: yarn

wand: single hooked wand or double pointed wands, depending on caster's preference

mechanical component: specific motions repeated in a particular pattern

time component: a while

look seriously the first step in a knitting recipe is "cast on", and then it's a bunch of letters and numbers incomprehensible to anyone not versed in the arcane art. that's a spellbook. yes it's a book of knitting patterns but also. it's a spell book.

Knitted some mittens for the first time. Rather rough at the fingers. Probably should work on my finishing skills. But I like how they turned out for my small hands
