Ticklishness does not determine how much you deserve to be tickled.

Sometimes, I will hc characters with low sensitivity/minimal reactions. I feel like this community will prioritize certain characters and therefore headcanon them with extreme, reactive ticklishness. Characters that headcanoners like less may get a less reactive touch or be ‘ler leaning.’ This trope is not harmful inherently, and it’s not at all mean or bad! However… how does that translate to real life? How do those with unique ticklishness see themselves? What of those who aren’t very ticklish, or only are in a few places? What about those who need to be tickled very roughly to laugh? Or even those whose ticklishnesses will fade after only a moment of repetitive touch? Those who need to push their laugh to make the situation seem more natural? Even those who may not even know if they’re ticklish anymore because it’s been so long?

It is okay to be this way. Sensitivity shouldn’t inherently impact the charm of a lee, nor should anyone be stereotyped or put into categories the way fictional characters are. And furthermore, it’s okay and even special to headcanon favorite/popular characters with unique ticklishness! Your favorites don’t always need to be hypersensitive and reactive to be adorable. Because, once again, sensitivity ≠ how much anyone deserves. Your interests, real reactions, real laugh, genuine enjoyment and other aspects of tickling are very important.

I realize this message is a bit overdue, and I apologize if I struggle to find the right words, but I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for making this past year truly remarkable.

I want to give a heartfelt thank you to all who have stood by me. The friendships I’ve had the privilege to make, cherish, and, at times, let go of, have all been meaningful.

Despite a few ups and downs, this community has felt like a true home to me. I have met some truly incredible people—people whose support has pulled me out of some very dark places. Words cannot fully express how much this means to me.

I hope the friendships I’ve formed have left a positive impact. From meeting @beehivemind200 and @emblemcosplays this year, to making loads more friends within the community. my heart found its hope here and I couldn't be more thankful.

Throughout the highs and lows of this year, you all have kept me going. Whether it was supporting Kia, engaging with me, or the kindness shown by those commissioning me, your unwavering support has been a constant source of strength. This year has been filled with laughter, love, and countless moments of tickles.

I also want to express my deepest appreciation for your continued support over the past month. Unfortunately progress with the room has been slower than expected. Due to our insurance representative being on holiday, we’re still awaiting a response, and it looks like work may not even begin for another month. It has been 22 days since this all started, and I’ve been keeping track. The situation has worsened, with more debris falling from my desk and onto my bed, leaving me with fiberglass in the upper corner of my bed. such a joy to wake up to at 9 am XD

The room is now completely dry, making it difficult to continue work in there. I have had to sleep on the couch for 18 days out of this and my hip is fucking SUFFERING haha. BUT! good news! My soon to be wife and I will be seeing each other again march 10th of this year as a break away from everything. so I can sleep in a bed again and go back to normalcy.

This past month has undoubtedly been challenging, but I am so grateful to those who have reached out, checked in on me, and shown incredible patience. For anyone I may have seemed to have ghosted, I apologize. Between moving abroad and navigating a sea of legal matters, things have been overwhelming and time-consuming. I miss my friends dearly.

we still have more to go through within my broken room :(( but we cant get to it from the amount of fiberglass in there. everything is exposed and were not allowed to clean it up according to my grandmother. (please dont get me started ive heard it all).

Hi! Nope! And here’s why.

As much as tickles aren’t a kink for me, and as wholesome as I know my intentions are, I cannot predict my audience and how they will take my art. If I am specifically asked for a child character or they are in demand, I will not do it. And any time (like the 3 whole times) I have drawn tk art or a fic with anyone under the age of 18 in it it’s been completely familial. This is the second time I’ve had to make this announcement and if it happens a third time I will never draw the demanded characters on my blog again regardless of context. Bottom line if any character regardless of age becomes in demand in a way I find concerning or against my own guidelines I will just simply never draw them again. I’m not there yet because this isn’t a thing that’s happened or been weird on my blog yet but if it does now y’all know.

(Bite-Sized) Tickletober Day 2: Storm

God, what a good idea!

This is a pretty silly dynamic that easily meshes two of my headcanons. I can see Yellow Guy having some ‘fear of the dark’ trauma. (The web series and show are loosely connected it seems? Some memories seem to bleed into the show?)

I also see the Red Guy as someone who isn’t extensively ticklish like his friends. He’s got his good spots but I think he’s a real expert at holding his chuckles in either way, as demonstrated above. Doesn’t make him any less charming as a lee in my eyes, though! 💕

(DISCLAIMER: I perceive yellow guy as an ageless character who is being “brought up” as if he were a child because he’s an “android”. So some depictions of him on my blog might be on the more childish side. Please understand that I am not infantilizing him or disregarding the fact that he is not canonically a child. Thanks!)

(Bite sized) Tickletober Day 1: JUMPSCARE!

Oh, Man! I am SO EXCITED to be back into the tickletober swing of things. I can’t believe it’s that time of the year again… when my hand drawing skills magically get better. Anywho, for the first prompt of the month, I gotta draw some absolute cuties,,, the concept of avenger Pasqually and Jasper doing this prompt is so silly to me because they’re ALWAYS hounding each other, Jasper more than Pasqually. And since Pasqually is always making irritating jokes, I’m sure Jasper isn’t above playing a little prank on his friend. 💕
