“Anyone can cook but only the fearless can be great” a qoute from Ratatouille it is a movie where a rat who can cook makes an unusual alliance with a young kitchen worker at a famous restaurant. A movie that inspires me to be a great chef someday nomatter who am I or what am I as long as im fearless I can do great.
Cooking is our favorite way to bring family and friends together. When I was young my mother always cook lots of food even there is no occasion, she really loves to cook and innovate food sometimes he can make a food with of few ingredients only found in our storage. My mother thaught me how to cook, cooking together is our best way to have quality time we talk lot of things, we make lots of memories. For me, there’s no better place than the kitchen and nothing more enjoyable than gathering everyone at the table to try something delicious. That’s why I started cooking, and why I’ve chosen to build my life around it.
I always dream to be a professional chef in a popular cruise ship. So, I decided to get the course culinary arts in STI, reasons why I chose this school is I heard they teach very well, they are fully eqiupped and also their students known in making creative platings and always wins in many cooking competition. I always see their commercial in television I get more interested to study in them. I decided to study in STI, so I ask permission to my parents and luckily they agree.
At first day of school I was very shy and trying to adjust myself in the sorrounding I get very nervous because there’s a lot of new faces I see and I am not that so friendly. The first thing I noticed in the school our first day I’ve seen lots of students the past year students I saw that they were really taught  very well specialy those culinary students. When they have their laboratory I really want to see how they work, how they apply what they learned, and obviousely they made very well looks like they were a real proffesional chef. Slowly and steadily, I fell in love with everything about the school and the challenges gradually dissipated. The friends I made helped the transition tremendously. The school puts friendships on the fast track; acquaintances become old friends at lightning speed. You need people to lean on, and it’s such a bizarre setting that you just have to laugh.
              Being a culinary student is not easy from a purely shallow perspective, culinary student took some serious adjustment. Of course as a culinary student I handle food so I have to be neat and clean. Long hair got tied and tucked up. My nail polish and jewelry gathered dust at home beacause it is not part of the culinary student uniform. Since giving up wasn’t an option, I dug in and braced myself for a fight. 
                Before we take our laboratory our teacher always have a lesson and from that lesson we will have our laboratory with or without the guide of our teacher. I learn a lot of techniques on how to cook without the help of a cookbooks or any recipe book . I found measuring is very important in cooking food because evena professional chef use measuring tools to make a food. Our teacher gave us tasks to make our first laboratory successful like he make sure that we know first the equipment we use after he deploy us in the kitchen. And yes I we tackle about the history og culinary arts and then slowly and slowly we arrived on how to cook foriegn viands. Finally the day that I am waiting the kitchen laboratory time onestly I feel nervous that time not because I don’t know what to do it is because I am afraid to make a mistake cause I’m a clumsy kind of person. Fortunately, I listened to our sir’s discussion very well and I set in in my mind before I take myfirst laboratory. As what culinary students do I make myself clean and net wear appropriate clothes and follow rules inside and outside the kitchen. And yes I made my dish successfully.
              Currently in our school we are in baking ang cooking pastries lessons as a graduating of senior high school I can say that we are in the hardest past from the basic (the first day of being senior hig student) to the almost likely professional chef traning. Our school really teaches every students to be more job ready and be competent in every way. When you think about what is culinary arts, you should think of the things you love to eat. If you are a culinarian (or chef) then you can decide what your ingredients will be! There are specific cooking methods and techniques to learn, but it’s up to a chef to decide which methods to use and the overall appearance and taste of the dish. They can create fusions between different types of cuisines, or something that is completely unique. When someone is earning a culinary arts degree they will have the chance to learn about all these different possibilities. As a student, it pays for you to gain a general understanding of the hospitality industry and educational systems before putting your best foot forward.  A little research might bring to light possibilities for your culinary future that you did not imagine.  Understanding the hierarchical structure of professional kitchens and the training requirements for each job gives you the best way forward in attaining the education that is most suited to your ultimate employment goals. The culinary arts have been continuously growing in popularity and as a result, more and more international students are beginning to realize the value of pursuing this career path.
              Cooking is my passion it is the thing I want and I love to do for the rest of my life. I will pursue to study this course until I graduate my college and of course I will make my dream come true I’ll make sure that it will happen.
