“And you’d just be downright boring because most of your risks are with me. C’mon let’s go.” She said taking their arm before apparating them to Italy near the Leaning Tower of Pisa. “Well, now that we’re here. What should we do? Get food first?” She asked before letting go of their arm.
They let her take their arm, laughing even as they apparated away, barely even noticing the always-strange swirling sensation in their stomach as they finally touched down on crisp grass. Gilderoy looked around rather distractedly, “Food first. Preferably pasta with lots and lots of cheese, but I’m not picky. We’re in Italy!”

“Mmm, I highly doubt that. You just don’t like taking risks.” She said laughing at them before shaking her head. “Isn’t it Paris that’s so romantic? Besides, romance is not what we want. It’s clearly the pasta we want. We want to get fat on pasta before taking stupid pictures on the Leaning Tower Of Pisa. I say we should do it! What do you think?”
“Risks are wonderful! If I didn’t like taking risk, I wouldn’t be your friend. I just have my image to worry about now,” Gilderoy said, flipping their hair out of their eyes. “Italy can also be romantic, I think. Pasta can be romantic, too, if you find the right pasta... but pasta in Pisa, sounds like a plan to me! I do need to start having adventures now, I really need to get writing.”

“Oh why not? Breaking into the white house is only illegal in America, they’d probably send us to some muggle prison the worse.” She said laughing at them. “Hm, fine if that won’t work what about Leaning tower of Pisa? I say that sounds pretty fun.”
“Muggle prison also might tarnish my literally pristine reputation,” they said with a laugh, “Italy, though... how romantic, how beautiful! And, I do love pasta... the Leaning Tower of Pisa might be an idea.”

“Hell yeah, let’s go do it by making our first story right now. Let’s go do something fun. Like apparate to America and break into the White House, or go to Italy and go up the Leaning Tower Of Pisa!” Hestia said laughing slightly at them. “We need to make this book fucking exciting.”
“Something adventurous would be literally perfect! Maybe something more legal than breaking into the White House, though. I wouldn’t want to be sent to Azkaban before I can even publish my first book,” they said with a laugh. “I’m sure we can come up with something terribly exciting.”

“More like you’re still willing to put up with me, I swear, we probably had too many incidents when I nearly got us both close to being expelled.” She said laughing “I think that would be totally rad, or just have your entire book just be about us and how awesome we are.”
“But that’s what made it so much fun! What’s life without a little trouble, right? It was literally so worth it!” they said with a smile. “If I’m going to write an entire book about us, we’re going to need to make some more stories before I start. So we should get on that, because I’m certain the fans will be begging for a biography soon enough.”

“Hey I’m just saying!” She said laughing raising her hands up defensively before her gaze met his, noticing how serious they suddenly got and let her hands drop to her side. “Why do you think we’re such good friends? Hestia and Gilderoy: Partners in crime since first year.” She said as she rested her head on their shoulder.
They smiled as she leaned her head on their shoulder. Gilderoy reached an arm around her, giving her shoulders a squeeze. “You’re right, of course. And thank god you’re still willing to put up with me! Maybe I’ll have to write a chapter in my future autobiography--because I know they’ll be begging for one after a few years--dedicated solely to our friendship,” they said with a laugh.

“Please, you should know me by now Gilderoy, I only simply tell the truth.” She said laughing at them before shook her head at their wink. “And I’m pretty sure I’ve told you the same thing from when we were younger and in school together.” She said smiling at the memories.
“The truth! Sure, Hestia, just tell yourself that. We have different definitions of the truth,” they laughed. “Alright, alright, you did have a habit of reminding me that a few years ago. You always know how to keep me humble,” Gilderoy said seriously, as if there was anything humble about them.

“Mmm, no I’m pretty sure I just mean stupid.” She said laughing as she shook her head. “You do have a pretty smile for a pretty say, but I think mine is much better than yours.”
Gilderoy feigned offense. “My smile is gorgeous. I don’t think anyone has ever had the nerve to say their smile is better than mine... but I guess if anyone’s was it would probably be you,” they said with a wink.

“Of course. Already started? I’ll be thrilled to see the books when they come out.” He smiled when Gilderoy nudged him, “Perhaps you should attach a note to the book, for your editor, so he knows not to cut out your. Winning attempts at humor. He may think they’re just bad plays on words, or something of the sort.”
“Just started with an introduction, writing a bit about myself to help the future fans get familiar,” they grinned. “Hey! My jokes aren’t that bad. I’m funny. And I’m certain my editor will also find them hilarious. Still, maybe I should cut a few of the jokes I’ve already thrown in. Don’t want to seem like I’m not serious about things.”

“I laughed because of how stupid you looked while doing it.” She laughed before nudging them. “That is very true.”
“Stupid and charming, is what I think you mean. I mean, I am here to entertain. Anything to see that lovely smily of yours. It’s almost as beautiful as mine,” they grinned, nudging her back.

“That was probably the worst joke I have heard in a while.” She said as she couldn’t help but laugh at him.
“Oh, come on! It wasn’t that bad. You did laugh, you know, so it must’ve been funny,” Gilderoy said with a grin. “At the very least, I’m amusing.”

Rodolphus raised his eyebrows at Gilderoy’s joke, but grinned and chuckled when they laughed at themselves. “Oui. What a terrible joke. I’m floored really. Are you sure you are going to be writing about adventures and not a joke book?”
“Oh come on, it’s not that bad! I would write a perfectly hilarious joke book, but alas, I’ve already started work on an adventure. I’ll definitely be throwing a few of those gems into my book, though. I like to keep things lively,” they said with a grin, nudging Rodolphus in the side.

“Perhaps a third product you could add to that! Then it’ll truly be a set that everyone will be lining up for miles to get!” Ted grinned as the other patted his shoulder. “I need to go now, I have to pick up my daughter from the Weasley’s and be back before Andromeda gets worried. I’ll see you around, yeah? Before you get too famous for us little folks?”

“What a brilliant idea! I’ll have to start coming up with other ideas tonight,” Gilderoy smiled. “Of course, of course. Although, I’ll never be too famous for my friends! Always a pleasure, Ted. Tell little Nymphadora I said hello, and Andromeda, too.”

“I’ll be one of those folks who will get those hair potions! Maybe the entire Lockhart set! The books and the haircare!” Ted couldn’t help but laugh. Perhaps the wix could be a jack of all trades. “Well, I do hope you find what makes you happy.”

“Maybe I can market them as a set! I’m certain there’s never been something like that before, and I’d love to start something new!” they said, before giving Ted a pat on the shoulder. “Thank you, Ted! I’m certain I will one day!”

“Your hair is indeed something you should be proud of! I’m sure Dora would love to morph her hair into your hair.” Ted smiled brightly at the wix. He couldn’t help but blush at the comment. “Thanks mate. I’m sure you’ll find someone who’s just as much as a star as you are!”

“Thank you! She would look absolutely wonderful . In fact, I’ve been thinking a lot about starting a line of haircare potions so everyone can have hair as lovely as mine,” they said with a smile. “I do hope you’re right! I’m not sure if that’s possible, though.”
