blue has oranges because blue was the color of the agricultural class in the sablian empire. the fruit came first and their social class was directly tied to what color your garbs are so the word for the people of the class that wore orange (the class of the land owners & military leaders) became the tawnies/gingers. the gingers/tawnies have two different names, because the yellow faction and the green faction couldn't make up their minds. the warm half of the color wheel calls them tawnies, while the cool side of the color wheel calls them gingers.
